Do you know a caregiver who needs some time for
him/herself? Adult Day Services can provide that
much needed time.
Attending day care has helped mother greatly. Being kept busy has stopped a lot of her negative dialogue of the past and thinking
of her losses. The day goes by quickly for her at daycare, which gives her less time to dwell on things. Thanks!
Mardi Gras! We jumped into the spirit of New Orleans and danced to the sounds of jazz, zydeco and Cajun music.

In like a Lion! Hold down your “March Hair-do!” Our own version of College Basketball’s March Madness will materialize on the 8th. Bring on your team colors and baggy shorts! Contests, exhibitions and more. Rain, snow or shine. Prepare for Pie day on the 14th! yum! (or is it PI ?) Later, St. Patrick’s Day slithers on in, Mar. 17th. A parade of lucky green and jaunty jigs, (snakes, not so much). Sport a shamrock in your lapel and prepare to be kissed! A Blarney Stone’s throw from then, we will give a nod to the Spring Equinox, followed by a traditional early Easter, for those who choose. Fancy hats, egg dying and games, kids visiting... and perhaps a short ceremony on Good Friday, the 25th. Select picnic outings will start up, weather permitting. Over and out...like a Lamb.

“I’m 77 years old and I’ve had a great life,” states Glenna. “My husband James, he died, but we had five children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. I had a catering and floral business that helped put my children through school. I had a big house, a big kitchen and worked out of my home. My children would help me. I never advertised, people knew me. They liked the fried chicken and roast beef the best.” Here at adult day Glenna is known for her genuine smile and is described as a ‘wonderful woman.’ She also looks great in a hat!
