1992 – 1996 Worked as a junior travel consultant at Dynamic Travel and work myself up to a senior travel consultant level1996 – 1997 worked as a sales representative for Creative Tours selling travel packages, car rental and hotel accommodation to the travel industry1997 – 1998 Went back to Dynamic Travel and worked as a senior travel consultant in the business travel industry1998 – 2002 We moved down to the Garden Route where my husband and I opened a branch of Kennings Car Hire in George. Here I did everything from car rental booking, sales, wages, and delivery of vehicles as well as the company’s books.2003 – 2004 I moved to Cape Town where I managed a travel agency call the Travel Chain2004 – 2006 I opened my own retail scrapbooking store, where I managed stock, did the books, gave classes to both adults and children and managed the store2006-2008 We moved to Durban where I worked as a sales representative for The Scrap Station selling scrapbooking and craft material to the greater Durban area.2008 -2010 I moved to Istanbul where at first I did not work.2010 - 2012 I worked as a teacher’s assistant for grade 3 at Istanbul International Community School (IICS). I was then transferred to the learning support department where I worked independently under the supervision of the school psychologist. I worked with small groups using the Wilsons program as well as individual programs set out for the children. I also tutored outside of IICS on a personal basis assisting children with learning difficulties phonics, reading and writing skills.
