company has created its unique research laboratory called Vision DEM4.The name of the laboratory is abbreviated from «Direct Effect Management» and “4” means four directions, thereby symbolizing the most comprehensive impact of this effect.

The headquarters of the laboratory are located in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, and its research facilities are spread in many countries around the world, including both its own research and production facilities, as well as and the capacities of Vision’s partners, the list of which includes some leading industrial conglomerates and industrial research institutes. Among the strategic partners in the field of laboratory research, there are the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences; the pharmaceutical company Aconitum; and the laboratory of the herbal teas producer called “Švenčionių vaistažolės“.

The application of advanced information technologies enables the conduct of research activities in distributed mode, similar in its

principle to the so-called «cloud computing». This means that dozens of specialists from different companies and institutions are involved into the work of the laboratory in real time. While doing this, they all have access to the common IT domain designed to store, process and ‘grow’ new knowledge. In this respect, Vision DEM4 laboratory may be called virtual.

With its extensive scientific resources, Vision DEM4 laboratory regularly monitors the ecological state of different regions around the globe to establish which ones are the most favourable for the cultivation of plants that are to become components of the Vision products. Ecological passports of the regions are compiled on the basis of collected data. Specialists take into account such parameters as the rarefaction of the mountain air, the height of the growth point above sea level, average temperature, humidity, ultraviolet radiation, the geographical orientation, the wind rose. ture VISION PRODUCTS MANUfACTURE

While fully the development of new product formulas and procurement of appropriate ingredients, Vision also pays close attention to the manufacturing process.

All Vision products are manufactured at the Company’s own production facilities, or by authorised companies that meet an extensive list of strict requirements, among which, to name a few, is location of the production facilities in ecologically clean regions, availability of highly qualified personnel, as well as certification according to a very specific list of industrial standards.

The main requirement is GMP certificate. GMP norms, originally established by the World Health Organization, exist in order to ensure strict compliance of the product quality to specified standards. According to the GMP requirements, the manufacturer must ensure high quality of the raw materials, the use of modern technologies, cleanliness of the production areas, the use of high-tech equipment, high qualification of the personnel, and many more.

GMP - is a reliable guarantee of the highest quality and safety of the products. Without exception, all factories that manufacture Vision products are GMP-certified. In addition, these factories have a number of other important certificates that additionally ensure the highest product quality, while the products themselves invariably pass all the stages of state registration in the countries of origin and countries of distribution.

NutripharmaThis modern factory is located in Ireland, one of the world’s cleanest regions. It was built together by Vision and Arkopharma, one of Europe’s largest pharmaceutical concern. At Nutripharma, biologically active food supplements are produced with the involvement of a unique technology known as cryo-grinding. This is grinding plant components in an inert nitrogen environment under a temperature of -196˚ C, which allows to preserve the life-giving power of herbs.

Švenčionių VaistažolėsHerbal teas and other Vision products are manufactured by the Lithuanian company Švenčionių Vaistažolės, founded in 1883 and completely renovated in 2010. The factory is located in the town Švenčionių, 80 km from Vilnius, in the beautiful, environmentally friendly national park Aukštaitija, often referred to «Lithuanian Switzerland». Products of Švenčionių Vaistažolės have been awarded the prestigious European Golden Prize for Quality.
