    The company

    Giordano Riello, founder and chairman of Aermec, assisted by his son

    Noise pollution control with low-noise emission products, which

    undergo scrupulous testing before being put on the market.

    Energy saving, the great challenge of the Third Millennium, with the

    development of combined heating and air conditioning systems where

    appliances are used only as and when necessary.

    Health care special filters trap the smallest particles in suspension and

    the Plasmacluster system cleans the air of dust mites and moulds, making

    for a cleaner, healthier environment and with the new germicidal lamps

    eliminating all virus and batteries.

    Hystory

    1961  Giordano Riello sets up Riello Condizionatori, initially producing forcontractors only. The story begins.

    1963  The Aermec brand is born and marks all future company products designed

    and manufactured on site.The brand name gains a stronghold as a major product name in Italy and

    throughout Europe.1970  Aermec can already supply fresh and warm air. Aermec presents the

    first dual section conditioner: the first “split-system”. Fancoil production

    starts.1980  The Eighties sees the development of water chillers and air handling units.

    1990  The Nineties mark the definitive consolidation of the company on the market.The Aermec brand is associated with advanced technology and high qualitydesign.

    1998  The name makes the company. From 1 January Aermec becomes the

    company name as well as product brand.2000  The company consolidated its leadership in the production of fancoils, and

    laid the technological and production basis for strong growth in the field ofhigh powered air-conditioning systems.

    2002  Design and technology: Aermec launched Omnia a new generation of

    fancoils, designed for domestic applications. OMNIA is the result of co

    operation with a worldwide prestigious designer.2004  The international market ask for number and Aermec answer. Giordano Riello

    make the producing system more technogical. High producing, quality and

    assistance: the success of Aermec is going to continue.2006  Aermec consolidated its presence in world markets with system appliances. A

    series of models to meet all design engineering requirements.2008  Aermec responds with more and more efficient units to the world challenge

    of energy saving with a special attention for our environment.2010  Aermec extends the use of inverter technology on its fancoils and chillers.

    The perfect integration of the new inverter technology with the most

    sophisticated control systems is best expressed in the VMF (Variable MultiFlow) Hydronic System - anew way to interpret comfort in the home andelsewhere.

    2011  Aermec turns 50. The company has developed and enlarged, always willing

    to understand and anticipate the needs of the market with innovative andquality products.

    Fan coils for heating, cooling, and dehumidifying.FCX is designed to maintain in time the set temperature,ensuring very low sound levels. Installed in any type of plant2/4 tubes and in combination with any of the heat generatoreven at low temperatures.Thanks to the availability of different versions, with front orlower air intake, with standard battery or increased, for hori-zontal or vertical installation, it is easy to choose the optimalsolution for any need.

    • SIT 3 - 5: Thermostat Interface Cards. They allowthe creation of a network of fan coils (max. 10)commanded by a central control panel (selectoror thermostat).

      SIT3: commands the 3 fan speeds and must beinstalled on each fan coil of the network;receives the commands from the selector or the

    SIT5 card.  SIT5: commands the 3 fan speeds and up to 2

    valves (four pipes systems); sends the commandsof the thermostat to the fan coils network.

    • SW3: water temperature probe that gives the auto-matic season change feature to electronic thermo-stats supplied with water-side change over.

    • SWA: SWA external probe accessory (length L =6m). The probe detects the temperature of theambient air if connected to the connector (A) ofthe panel FMT21; the ambient air temperatureprobe incorporated in the panel is automaticallydeactivated. Detects the temperature of thewater in the system, for ventilation consent, if

    connected to the connector (W) of the FMT21panel. Two SWA probes can be connected to thepanel FMT21 simultaneously.

    • VCF: the kit contains a motorised 3-way valve withinsulating shell, plus coupling and pipes in insulatedcopper. For 3/4-row and 1-row coils (BV). Combinethe SW3 probe with FCX ACT, too. Versions with

    230V and 24V~50Hz power supply.• VCFD: Kit consisting of powered 2-way valve,

    copper couplings and pipes. For 3/4-row and1-row coils (BV). Combine the SW3 probe withFCX ACT, too. Versions with 230V and24V~50Hz power supply.

    • VCF_X4: The valve kits are designed for fan coilunits with single coil, installed in a 4 pipe sys-tem with the "Cooling" and "Heating" circuitstotally separated. The kit consists of 2 valves of3-way 4 port connection complete with electro-thermal actuators, insulating shells for the valvesand associated hydraulic piping. VCF1X4L Valvekit for left hand connection fan coil units.

    VCF1X4R Valve kit for right hand connectionfan coil units. Power supply: 230V ~ 50Hz.• ZX: Feet for floor-standing installations for A-AS-

    blades to be easily cleaned. It is now possibleto remove the fan volute (it contains the fanblades) and clean it periodically.

    • Condensate drip tray cleaning: Thanks to anew drip tray fitting, it is now easier to cleanit with Omnia fan coils. This important solu-tion avoids, in the long run, bacteria, germsand mould to grow up, in the drip traybecause of the air humidity.

    • Precharged electrostatic filter: Omnia fancoils have, as standard, precharged electro-static filters. These filters, thanks to their spe-cial execution, attracts and retains all sus-pended dust particles, thus garanteeing purebreathable air to the whole family.

    • PLASMACLUSTER ionising filter:Plasmacluster is capable of reducing the levelof pollutants, by decomposing the moleculesthat form them. Using a series of electricshocks, "Plasmacluster" causes the water mol-

    ecules present in the air to separate into posi-tive and negative ions. These ions neutralisethe gas pollutant molecules, forming productsthat are normally present in clean air. Theresult is in the air: you can finally breathclean, odour-free ionised air.

    • Silent operation: Thanks to the use of specialcentrifugal fans, Omnia fan coils operation isextremely silent and offers the maximumacoustic comfort.

The room air temperature probe,incorporated in the panel, is automatically disa-bled. It detects the temperature of the water inthe system for ventilation consent if connectedto the connector (W) of the FMT21 panel. TwoSWA probes can be connected simultaneouslyto the FMT21 panel.

    OMNIA Radiant inherits all the advantages ofthe OMNIA UL series, and is characterized bythe introduction of the frontal plate for radiantheating.OMNIA Radiant Plus is provided with the DCBrushless electric engine, equipped with thelatest Inverter technology, granting the highestenergy efficiency and able to regulate the airflow through the continuous fan speed modula-tion. This allows to achieve up to 60% in energysaving when compared to the traditional On-Offfan system, in both air conditioning and heating.

    OMNIA Radiant and Radiant Plus offer the fol-

    lowing advantages when compared to the tradi-tional systems:• the radiant plate combination – the finned

    coil allows the best winter comfort with thelower energy consumption because it provi-des heating with lower water temperature:only 45°C against the about 65°C neededfor the traditional radiator. This not onlyincreases the comfort for the user, but alsosignificantly increases the overall efficiencyin case of heat pumps usage;

    • the fan system allows to quickly reach thedesired temperature, meeting the require-ment of a fast start-up;

    • the unit can be combined other than theboiler, also to energy saving heat pumps: air

    to water, water to water and geothermictype;• the electrostatic charge filter standard sup-

    plied, provides pure and clean air;• during summer Omnia Radiant and Radiant

    Plus provide air conditioning and dehumidi-fication in a fast and efficient way in everyroom.

    The four different working modes of OmniaRadiant annual functioning

    Radiant: Heating through radiation, comfortableand noiseless, is granted by the radiant plate pla-

    ced on the front of the fan coil cover; if necessa-ry, the triple-fins delivery head can be closed toincreases the heating of the plate, thus maximi-zing the radiant effect.

    Radiant + Natural ConvectionWith the triple-fins open, heating through natu-ral convection, obtained thanks to the biggercoil exchange surface, is added to the radiantheating.As for the radiant-only mode (see above), the fangroups are in off mode. This results in acousticcomfort and energy saving.

    Radiant + Forced ConvectionThe electronic regulation, precise and reliable,continuously compares the effective indoor tem-

    perature with the desired temperature: wheneverthe difference between the two should prove tobe too high (e.g. during the heating system start-up) the software will lead the fan system start-up.Start-up is fast and efficient and grants significantenergy savings especially in rooms that are occa-sionally used.
