A surface with a history of more than 10 years.Through years of intense research and development of new technologies, NEODENT has reached the currentstate-of-the-art process in treating the surface of its implants, the NeoPoros surface.

The NeoPoros surface is created using an abrasive particle jet concept with controlled grain oxides, followedby acid etching creating uniform cavities in the implant surface.

Implant Packaging

Neodent implant packaging has been updated to a concept that provides convenience andsafety through all steps of the procedure, from storage to the placement of the implant.The new packaging aids in identification of both the implant model as well as its diameter and length, regardless of its storage position.

Neodent innovates once more, providing an on-line platform designed to provide quick and practical use of its products instructions: the portal e-IFU (Instructions for Use).

To facilitate access, the external packaging of the product presents a specific code for its use instruction, plus information on how to proceed to view this online version. Once the code is entered in the portal, the professional will have access to relevant information to this product, such as description, indication for use, contraindications, handling, traceability and other features.

After breaking the sterility seal on the blister,

hold the primary package (crystal blue) and

twist the cap to open the lid.

To secure the implant, grip both sides

of the stand.

To capture the implant with the contra-angle

handpiece attachment, grip the stand while

placing the attachment into the

implant chamber.

To remove the implant from the tube lift

the cap up, which has the stand and implant

attached to it.

While gripping the stand, remove the lid. The implant can now be transported to the

surgical site.

Implants featuring the prosthetic index streamline the implant placement process and enable the planning of the final restoration of the implant increasing versatility in clinical and lab procedures.

CM Implants withProsthetic Index

Implant Capture and TransportA specific driver, available for the contra-angle handpiece, allows for the capture of the implant directly from its packaging.

Each implant placement must be initiated with the contra-angle driver (whether using the contra-angle or the digital screwdriver for contra-angle connections).

When the implant is secured, the contra-angle driver should be replaced by the torque wrench driver to place the implant in the osteotomy. Using the torque wrench driver will preserve both the contra-angle driver and the contra-angle bearings themselves, extending their life expectancy and preventing the contra-angle driver from locking inside of the implant.

DriversThe placement drivers have six dimples that coincide with the six flat sides of the implant’s prosthetic index. Upon placement, one of the marks should be in the bucal position in order to allow for the proper alignment and placement of the abutment and final restoration.

Operation Instructions

The Neodent Torque Wrench was designed to allow the necessary torque to be applied and simultaneous verification of that torque with the same Instrument.

The Neodent Torque Wrench comes with pre-calibrated torques: 10, 20, 32, 45 and 60 Ncm.

The Wrench function works in both directions, by simply pulling and turning the driver’s pin 180°. However, the torque measurements work only clockwise.

All that is needed is to apply force to the Wrench Handle (never the Wrench body) until the value marked on theLATERAL SCALE corresponds to the desired torque.

•WARNING: When inverting the torque direction, the gear may come loose from the driver bodyand fall. Therefore, this inversion should only be done with the driver connected to a part or outside the patient’s mouth.
