Rage Against the Machine, also known as Rage have gone with a very plain album cover. Being a very hard hitting band, Rage have gone with a plain yet powerful cover. With strong colours and large bold title its clear to see what this band is all about.

The album cover here is very different to others. The image shows a character dressed in all black, sitting in a waiting room with a gas mask on. This links with the image as it shows he is literally waiting to die. Senses Fail strike me with a “live for today” feel. The album may be saying, we are all just waiting to die.

INME’s White Butterfly shows none of the band members on the front cover. With the band being fairly gruff and almost dark, then cover supports this with dark red on black, almost coming across as blood. INME have taken something beautiful and turned it dark, taking a white butterfly which represents beauty and putting it in this context.

Skindred’s album cover shows power and aggression just like their songs. With the world war 2 planes bursting from the water it represents the force and strength of how the songs come at you.
