These are ideas of CD cover mock-ups. For the chosen idea, I will try and replicate the poses Florence uses, with my actress as these are the kind of style I would like. I have also used the chosen fonts and colour schemes on these mock-ups so I will have a true representation of what my final cover will look like.

This is my first mock-up. The image used is quite un-conventional as it’s a medium/long shot, and generally on CD cover they are close ups. However I like the idea of the image being replicated three times, but with three different poses and this is an idea I would take into consideration as it was my initial thought, and there happened to be a similar one when I looked online.

However I don’t think this looks like a typical CD, and think if it was in a shop, it wouldn’t overly stand out to the audience.

This is a more typical CD cover, the shot used is a medium/close up. She is also making eye contact, creating a connection between her and the audience.

I like the way the font is shown on her arm, this adds an edgy, original feel. However I do think the song title blends in to the image and is not easily noticed. This could be due to her outfit though, and this will not be a problem with mine as she will be wearing different and more plain clothes.

Again, this is a more conventional CD cover, with the shot type being a medium close up. The expression on her face is quite intense, which could draw the attention of the audience. The pose could also symbolise her representing ‘Raise it up’ which relates to the song title.

One way this cover could be improved is by having a interesting background to the image, rather than it just being grey, which makes the overall cover feel quite dull.

The image use is a medium-long shot. She has quite an awkward pose, which represent her style and individuality. Unlike some of the other images there is an interesting background to the image which make it look more like a CD cover.

Generally the poster is an extended version of the CD cover, by using a similar image to this, this would be difficult to achieve, therefore I may have to use a different style of image if I wanted to continue this convention.
