CFISD 2018-19 Leadership Conference
This two workshop covered topics like:
Dr. Henry’s in his speech highlighted the following:
• One at a Time
• Be an Actor
• Do-Overs DON'T exist
• Give OTHERS Credit
• Hang On
He also said that the difference between Position
versus Leadership, is that Position is a title while
Leadership is serving

• Emotional Healing
• Putting Followers First
The 2018-2019 CFISD Leadership Conference as held at the
Berry Center on August 7th and 8th. Larry Barrios along with
other members of the Technology Department attended the two
day workshop.

Angela Maiers was the keynote on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. the focus of the speech
was on making sure that that people understood that everyone matters. Her meassage
was making sure as a person that YOU MATTER!!.

WE MATTER BECAUSE TECHNOLOGY MATTERSAngela Maiers was having

advancing her slides during her
presentation and often said,
“That Technology does not
matter!”
She said this jokingly throughout
her presentation Tuesday
morning. So afterwards the
team told her Technology does
matter and took a picture with
her.

Technology 2018-19 Kickoff Meeting

On Thursday August 9th, 2018 the technology department had their 2018-2019 Kickoff meeting! The
team setup and had two sessions, one Dr Cupp talked about Priorities and then the rest of the team
attended the Voice of the Technician meeting.

The 2018-19 Technology Kickoff Meeting on Thursday Augustt 9, 2018. was possible
because of the planning and the hard work of the TPAC committee. I just wanted to tell
them thanks because of the work behind the scenes and with the handling of the awards and
the nice speeches they gave. You guys are awesome.

CFISD 2018-19 Leadership Conference
Dr. Eric Cupp was the keynote speaker for 2018-19 Technology Kickoff Meeting on Thursday
Augustt 9, 2018. His message was about setting priorities and establish a balance between
work and personal life. One important thing, that Dr. Cupp shared was that we all have
values that stay the same for us, but what we experience is different seasons in life!!
Depending on where we are in life will determine what season we will be in.
