Veterans and Families
On November 9th, we will serve a chicken stew dinner
at 5:30 p.m. Church members are asked to bring a
dessert. If you can provide a dessert, please bring it to
the church by 4:30 p.m. Thank you.
A donation was made to cover all the ingredients for
the chicken stew by Doris Nugent in memory of Chief
Master Sergeant James R. Nugent, who proudly served
his country for 31 years and in honor of Chief Master
Sergeant Mitchell D. Nugent, who proudly served his
country for 28 years.

“Becoming” NEEDS YOU!
“Becoming” ministry needs volunteers to help with
sorting and organizing clothes. They also need people
with a strong sense of fashion to meet with the ladies
and help them choose professional clothing that will
assist them in interviewing for a job.

PRAYER
Thank you Lord Jesus for your life and death
on the cross. In Your life and death, dear Lord, You
have shown me how much You love and cherish each
of us and that our inheritance is eternal because of
Your goodness and sacrifice.
Lord, help me to never take that for granted.
Help me wear your love and grace as a crown of
righteousness that I seek to share with any and all who
will listen. Help me to remain humble in Your name
and grace and to know I did not earn this crown but
rather Your life, death and resurrection bestowed it
upon me. I know this crown has already been paid for
by Your blood, shed for all of us.
Lord help me to share the grace that is in my
heart, a grace that enables me to always try,
without fear of failure.
Help me dear Lord to share Your grace with
all those I meet, a grace that calls me to be true to
your values and vision for my life and the life of all
your children. A grace that helps me to hold my head
up and to never be overwhelmed by life or troubles.
Thank you Lord for making a way for me to
be reconciled unto God and to once again be His
child. AMEN

THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS:
While we were still sinners Jesus Christ died for
us: “He Himself bore our sins” in His body on
the cross, so that we might die to sins
and live for righteousness;
“by His wounds
you have been healed.”
