A UWI education is one of thebest investments you can make. What each student paysmay differ as some states sub-sidise fees. At Mona, Universi-ty fees can be paid in a num-ber of ways including
online at http://www.mona.edu/studinfo/feesusing the UWI, Mona E-Com-merce facility.
Ideally, all payments should bemade before the fee deadlines toavoid congestion and consequentdelays at payment locations.
If you are utilizing an approvedstudent loan scheme for tuitionfees, you must pay all miscella-neous fees yourself. For non-Jamaican Student Loan Schemes:a) Be sure to have written infor-mation from the lending agencyas proof that the loan was
approved, andb) Ensure that tuition fees arepaid over to the University. Schol-arship holders should submit theletter of award to AdmissionsSection.
Except for personal cheques, most forms of payment (includ-ing credit cards) are accepted.Pay attention to fee deadlinesand consult your UndergraduateStudent Handbook for details.
THE OFFICE OF STUDENTFINANCING (OSF)The OSF provides financial adviceand assistance to full-time UWI,Mona students as well as toJamaican full-time undergradu-ates studying in the Bahamas.Assistance is available as scholar-ships, bursaries, book or cashgrants, long- or short-term loans,as well as bus and meal subsidies.
