I lead the companies heating installation division, reporting directly to the Commercial Director & Managing Director. This role involves supervising the full programme of installation work across a portfolio of contracts, including Warm Front & Green Deal. I am the operational manager for teams of engineers across the North East and North Yorkshire and within this role I am responsible for recruitment, inspections, site surveys, and training, providing technical advice to employees, contractors, clients and Directors of TIC.I undertake projects through design, tender and installation, and have recently submitted a tender for a Commercial project which will be TIC’s 1st venture into the Commercial market.Within this role I have also taken on the responsibility for Consumer complaint resolution, an employee commission based scheme and a full review of employee engagement through regular 121’s team meeting’s and Personal development plans.

In charge of building and managing the relationship and contracts between the company, it’s sub-contractors, suppliers, vendors and onsite workforce. Fully responsible for being the focal point for the treatment of all contractual issues and also involved in organising and controlling working relationships with these business partners.Bay Building Services offers a comprehensive service covering all aspects of mechanical services, plumbing and heating installations throughout the North West region across a range of Commercial, local Government, Housing, Leisure and Education facilities. Within this role I have gained in-depth knowledge and experience in new/refurbished plant room installations, renewable energies including solar power and ground/air source heat pumps, ventilation, air conditioning, building management systems, and a variety of heating solutions including under floor heating.I currently hold both my Commercial & Domestic gas engineer certification and as the only member of the senior management team with this professional qualification I manage all elements of any Commercial Gas installation.Within the company I co-ordinate the apprentiship scheme which was one of the contributing factors in Bay receiving the investors in people accreditation. Attend breakdowns of gas appliances and central heating systems, with a competent ability in fault diagnosis and repair of modern and traditional boilers to then carry out repairs which would include fitting new pumps, power flushing, replacing motorised valves, radiators and adapting pipe work as necessary. Electrical work was also involved replacing immersion heaters, central heating controls, and earth bonds.I needed to effectively communicate with customers to explain the correct operation of gas appliances and the importance of regular servicing and complete landlord’s certificates where appropriate.Always working to deadlines and timescales and liaise with managers and customers regarding changes to schedules or appointments.

Personal InterestsI like to watch live Football and Rugby Union and play 5 a side regularly; I Have in coached a local boys youth football team from year 7 to 16.I try to run twice a week and occasionally play squash.
