Introduction

The App I chose for my midterm project is How to tie a tie, this app will address and help to solve the problem of many men, women, and children that has an issue when it comes to tying a tie properly. My App is a solving problem kind of App it brings attention to this is-sue and shows step by step of how to correctly tie and tie with use of illustrated pages. I did some research and I found out that the most successfully Apps are the ones that addresses problems, my research inform me that this is the type of app that is successful. In addition, I have a clear view of the target audience because I’m also one of them. Furthermore, this app also has an option to purchase seven more knots for a small fee $1.99. My research also explain that my app will be a complex project because it involves database, CRM, web, payment or social media integration so it will take about 8 to 12 weeks to complete.

Description

I have always had a problem when it comes to remembering how to tie a tie. This app helps guys like me, who forget from time to time what the steps are. When I was growing up I always attended church with my grandmother and I had wear a tie. But I remember asking my grandmother to show me how and she didn’t know how either. I remember I had to ask my next door neighbors’ father and he showed me a few times until I got it. However, years went by and I have been on many interviews and sometimes I visit church from time to time where I had to wear a tie and I did. But I remember that the way I tied my ties for those moments was not correct. Now if I had use of app like how to tie a tie app things would have been a lot easier. I have tried using this app to tie a tie for my student the other day when he had to wear a tie for a play we had in class. Personally I think it’s a great app and It also shows you different types of knots and it even gives you the option to buy several additional types knots for $1.99. This app is so simple to navigate and I recommend that anyone that has this problem should download it.

conclusion

When I started this project I didn’t understand what it took to create a Application. I see now that it takes a lot of planning and the production process takes a lot of thinking. I also see that it takes a lot of problem solving and organizing. I had fun learning about the steps you have to take when creating a app. The thing about applications is we used them every day and we have know idea what it takes to create them or produce them. But this project open my eyes to this process and I’m greatful for the learning experience.
