Mission

JOINING HANDS TO LIGHT UP THE FUTURE

Activities

• CHUNG TAY Donation mainly focuses on children living in

poverty and lack of educational conditions

• In order to fulfill our mission in a sustainable way, we

determine to implement diversification programs to improve

poor educational conditions for children who live in

disadvantaged or mountainous areas such as: basic needs

like shelter, clean water, sanitation, food, library, uniform,

educational necessities…

Activities

• Besides, our “Touching Dream” Scholarship has been

launched with the aim to support for talented yet

economically disadvantaged students to continue their

education. Sticking to our mission, we follow up closely

educational progress of each case by cooperating with their

Principal Board to update their studying. Then, we can give

them right and in-time support if any. For long term

purpose, granted students will enter college and have a job

after studying

1. Visiting and presenting rice and necessities to poor people who live in Cam Phuoc Dong Commune, Cam Ranh District, Khanh Hoa Province in Apr 2014

2. Visiting and presenting necessities to ethnic poor people who live in mountainous areas of Canh Lien Commune, Van Canh District, Binh Dinh Province in Jun 2014

3. Presensting scholarships and learning necessities to poor students in Dinh Quan District, Dong Nai Province in Jul 2014

6. Presenting white T-shirt uniform and necessities to poor students in 3 Elementary Schools in mountainous areas of Bu Gia Map District, Binh Phuoc Province in Nov 2014

OPERATIONAL PLAN IN 2015

2015 Plan

1. “Warmth of Spring” program with presenting necessary items for Lunar New Year to 40 poor households and 40 disadvantaged students in Cam Ranh & Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province in 14 and 15 February 2015

2. Designing a plan to encourage children in HCM city using their lucky money to buy presents to disadvantage children in areas near HCM

3. Tentative plan to schools in remote area of Phan Dung Commune, Tuy Phong District, Binh Thuan Province

4. Planning to be back Dak Rong Boarding Elementary School, KBang, Gia Lai Province to support them improving their meal and considering about restroom project

5. Planning to be back Dinh Nup Boarding Elementary School, Phu Mo Commune, Phu Yen Province to consider renewing doors and windows of classrooms as well as improve boarding students’ meals

2015 Plan

6. Planning to be back 3 elementary school in Bu Gia Map District, Binh Phuoc Province:

• Đa Kia Elementary School: improving water sanitary system, restroom

• Binh Thang B Elementary School: renewing water well and improving school library

• Le Loi Elementary School: consider to build classrooms

• Presenting white T shirt, learning accessories

7. Planning to be back Hoa Binh Monastery, Bu Gia Map, Binh Phuoc to donate them food and necessities to students

8. Deliberating financial support to maintain daily operation for “Lop Hoc Uoc Mo” (Classroom for Dream) for handicapped children by Orange Toxic in Cat Trinh 2 Elementary School, Phu Cat, Binh Dinh – Estimated budget: USD 2,000/year

9. Planning to survey and donate some schools in mountainous areas of An Lao District, Binh Dinh Province

10. Donating other schools which are in disadvantaged conditions, under researching

2015 Plan

“Touching Dream” Scholarship

1. Consecutively following up students who got scholarship in 2014.

• Updating learning performance of granted students via Principal Board. Visiting their families to master their family circumstances

• Considering their practical demand of granted students in new school year 2015-2016 such as: bicycle, learning accessories, school fee…

• Receiving, screening and identifying cases which can grant scholarship to support them right time. Estimated number of scholarship in 2015: 30-40 students

2. Still maintain 3 scholarship levels: VND 2-4-6 millions

Health Insurance Program

1. Launching Health Insurance Program by donating expenses to acquire State Health Insurance for poor households combined with operations of “Touching Dream” Scholarship

• Aim: Ensuring expenses for health care can cover as State regulations for all members of poor/disadvantaged households

• Combining with understanding family circumstance in screening process scholarship case for good students who live in poverty

• CHUNG TAY Donation will pay health insurance premium directly to agent who issues the health insurance card

Restroom project

Researching and studying about feasibility of restroom project for schools

Aiming to schools which CHUNG TAY Donation has visited last year especially boarding schools, need more sanitary conditions

Studying best solution for designing suitable restroom in order to ensure effectivity sustainably
