ABOUT

ASEAN IMPACT CHALLENGE

Since 2015, ASEAN Impact Challenge has been the leading regional platform that discovers and scales partnerships and innovations for impact on the Sustainable

Development Goals in Southeast Asia.

Our belief is simple: Business can be a force for good and there is a business opportunity in the SDGs. We have seen over the last 4 years of the programme, that this statement is true, regardless of the size of the business. The SDGs are a

business opportunity. A USD12 trillion opportunity, in fact.

Grounded on the foundation of our track record of creating catalytic partnerships between corporates and startups through disruptive innovations, we are pleased to share the theme for 2019: “Circular Futures: Innovations For A Circular Economy”

and look forward to discovering Southeast Asia’s top innovators driving forward the circular economy in the region!

Why the Circular Economy?

Impact Hub KL © 2015 - 2019 | All rights reserved

“The circular economy is a $4.5 trillion business opportunity. It presents huge potential for global economic growth and will also accelerate society towards a sustainable future.

Transitioning to the circular economy will catalyze the most transformational economic, social and environmental changes since the First Industrial Revolution. Adopting a “circular mindset”

captures new economic opportunities to future-proof your business”

- World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)’s CEO Guide to the Circular Economy

We invite select organisations to be the first to discover the next game-changing innovations from Southeast Asia.
