Innovative Industries DemandFlexibility

FabLine modular cleanroom wall systemsmake it easier and more cost-effective than ever before to create ultra-clean facilities meeting the critical environmental conditions demanded in precision microelectronics manufacturing.

Rapid market life cycles and continuous product development dictate facilitiesdesigned to adapt quickly, with minimum disruption or down time to the operation.

FabLine cleanroom wall systems are designed for such change.

Our systems have design flexibility built in.Nonprogressive construction allows easyremoval of panels from either side of the wallwithout disturbing adjacent panels, ceiling or framework for minimum contamination.

With FabLine, there’s no need to start fromground zero to meet new requirements in current manufacturing space. The entire wall system can be utilized with all types ofexisting construction elements: ceilings, floors, and walls.

Fabline Modular Cleanroom Wall Systems For The Most Demanding Cleanroom Requirements

A Total Cleanroom Wall System

The PortaFab FabLine Series includes three wall systems for Framing, Batten andFurring applications.

Pre-engineered wall panels are interchangeable within all three systems, for consistent appearance, easier inventory and faster installation.

Engineered for use in any Class cleanroom,FabLine wall panels are non-outgassing,non-particle shedding and anti-static,decreasing product contamination.

All components can be packaged within acleanroom environment.

Proven Quality

With nearly two decades of cleanroom fabrication experience Porta-Fab is a leader in modular cleanroom technology.

Our high quality in standards and customerservice are now extended to the next level of technological advancement in FabLinecleanroom wall system components.

Turnkey Solutions

PortaFab’s commitment to maintaining thehighest quality standards extends to theinternational network of specializedcontractors for our cleanroom wall systems.

These contractors must meet the mostexacting industry standards of customerservice, industry knowledge and expertinstallation procedures. Their experience inconstructing Class 1 facilities has made themthe preferred source for most of the leadingmicroelectronics producers.

Among the largest in the industry, ourcontractor network maintain their own qualitycontrol programs to assure compliance withall critical standards. As independentcontractors, they choose to work withPortaFab because our FabLine CleanroomWall System is the most cost-effective productavailable for constructing a quality cleanroomenvelope.

Tax Advantages

A Wall System For Clean Fabs andCleanrooms

As the demands and requirements of themicroelectronics industry have increased inrecent years, so have the needs for ahigh-performing, cost-efficient designedsolution. Reduced construction schedules andincreased quality levels place greateremphasis on product turn around and reliableproduct design. Porta-Fab has engineeredthree wall systems designed to adapt to allthe demands within the high techmanufacturing industry down to a sub-Class 1 level.

The turn to 300mm technology will drivemore changes and demand more flexibility inthe way fabs are designed and operated.Increased tool footprints and heights demandoverall wall and ceiling heights to 16’ ortaller.

With these standards in mind, we developed awall system capable of obtaining such heightswhile meeting the deflection criteria for tallerwall conditions. Porta-Fab has designed theFabLine wall system to meet the newchallenges within the industry through ourstructural design.

Superior Panel Performance

Product contamination from outgassingremains an issue in maintaining the highestproduct yield levels. Tested in accordancewith ASTM E595, our wall systems meet thestringent demands for percentage of weight loss.

FabLine wall systems have the ability towithstand most chemicals, acids and solventsinvolved in nearby manufacturing andcleaning processes. Standard panel finishcan withstand various concentrations andtime exposures including: sulfuric acid, nitricacid, hydrofluoric acid, sodium hydroxide, and xylene at 50% concentration for 30minutes with no attack on the finish, allowingenough time to wipe down panel surfaces.

The smooth and uniform epoxy roll-coatfinish of our cleanroom panels ensures auniformly anti-static panel surface with nospecks or textures providing a moreconsistent appearance without any variationsin quality common with powder coatoperations. Panels are shipped with aprotective film to ensure cleanliness andprevent damage from installation. Andbecause our paint is baked onto our wallpanels, there is a greater resistance toabrasions and scratches.

Resistance Against ESD Contamination

With the critical requirements demanded ofmicro-electronics manufacturing, manyprocesses have become even more vulnerableto the effects of electro-static discharging.FabLine Wall Systems provide long-termperformance in cleanrooms offering staticcontrol, which improves quality and reducesmanufacturing costs. Standard panelsurface resistivity of 106 to 109 ohms/square,in accordance with EOS/ESD-S11.11-1993,and an electrostatic decay of <10% IN .5/sec,per Federal Standard 101B Method 4066,provides optimum static protection in mostapplications. Framework and doors are alsoavailable to meet the same criteria in a variety of colors.

Proven Reliability

Porta-Fab has earned the reputation as aleader in cleanroom wall systems. A U.S.corporation with representatives anddistributors throughout the world, wespecialize in cleanroom environments. Ourtechnology yields products that exhibitpermanence and consistency in performance. We can apply that technology to your specificapplication.
