As mobile technologies advances, traditional healthcare and education delivery models can be expedited at lower costs through innovative mobile-powered healthcare services.

ClickMedix mobile health and education platform offers a growing suite of mobile health services targeting different disease verticals to deliver quality healthcare to patients by connecting them to primary health providers and medical specialists, providing just-in-time care and education. The mobile health solutions have been used in more than ten countries including the US.

This role-based training manual describes how to use features of the system to deliver telehealth care and education for primary health providers, medical students, medical residents, medical attendings, and medical specialists.

1. Overview ClickMedix was founded and developed by graduates and faculty from MIT, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon. The mobile telehealth system utilizes mobile and web technologies to enable patients and health professionals to consult with medical experts at any time and anywhere to expedite healthcare delivery. The system has demonstrated improved health outcomes, shortened time to treatment, reduction in costs (from patients and providers) while improving medical education and health worker training.

2. Experience The mobile telehealth system has been piloted in more than ten countries for the past three years and commercially launched as ClickMedix in 2010. The management team has combined more than 30 years of experience in healthcare, mobile/web communications and e-commerce technologies.
