The angiography guide is used to guide angiography catheter, to lesion artery in angiography procedures.

2. Y SHAPE INTRODUCER NEEDLE:-

The needle point is very sharp, and can make easy puncture. The needle has smooth wall to reduce the resistance of advancing the guide wire. This Y shape valves help to reduce the blood loss.

4. INTRODUCER FEMORAL SHEATH:-

A kink-Resistive Introducer Sheath System provides 60 degree sit-up comfort for patients with an obturator in place. This sheath system has threaded dilator-to-hub interlock prevents dilator backout during insertion and secure attachment of the sterile sleeve. The Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) is a mechanical device that increases myocardial oxygen perfusion while at the same time increasing cardiac output. Increasing cardiac output increases coronary blood flow and therefore myocardial oxygen delivery. It consists of a cylindrical polyethylene balloon that sits in the aorta, approximately 2 cm (0.79 in) from the left subclavian artery[1] and counterpulsates.

24. HEART LUNG MACHINE :-

A device used in open heart surgery to support the body during the surgical procedure while the heart is stopped. The heart-lung machine consists of a chamber that receives the blood from the body, which is normally the responsibility of the heart’s right atrium. This blood is then pumped by the machine through an oxygenator, a function normally the responsibility of the right ventricle. The oxygenator removes the CO2 and adds oxygen, which is normally the work of the lungs. The pump then pumps this newly oxygenated blood back to the body, which is normally the work of the left heart. The heart-lung machine is connected to the patient by a series of tubes that the surgical team places. At the end of the operation, the surgeon gradually allows the patient’s heart to resume its normal function, and the heart-lung machine is "weaned off".

27. DUAL CHAMBER PACEMAKER :-

A dual chamber pacemaker has wires placed in two chambers of the heart. One lead paces the atrium and one paces the ventricle. This approach more closely matches the natural pacing of the heart. This type of pacemaker can coordinate function between the atria and ventricles. Dual-chamber pacemakers are recommended to treat symptomatic bradycardia in people with sick sinus syndrome, atrioventricular block, or both.

28. PACING LEADThe pacing wires or leads provide the electrical stimulus from an external source (a pulse generator) for temporary pacing of the heart. A cardiac catheter with one or more electrodes at its tip that can be used to artificially pace the heart; usually inserted into a patient's right ventricle.

26. SINGLE CHAMBER PACEMAKER :-

A single-chamber pacemaker has only one wire (pacing lead) that is placed into a chamber of the heart. It is either the upper chamber(atrium) or the lower chamber (ventricle). A single chamber pacemaker is generally indicated for patients with chronic atrial fibrillation with concomitant symptomatic bradycardia such as seen with AV block or after creation of complete heart block for definitive rate control measure.


29. DEFIBRILLATOR :-

Defibrillation consists of delivering a therapeutic dose of electrical current to the heart with a device called a defibrillator. This depolarizes a critical mass of the heart muscle, terminates the dysrhythmia and allows normal sinus rhythm to be reestablished by the body's natural pacemaker, in the sinoatrial node of the heart.
