SEMINARS FOR ACADEMIC CREDIT You will notice that most seminars are available for academic credit.
For RSSs, 710s, 711A, and assessment seminars, registering for
the seminar/meeting is a registration for the academic credit option
and requires no additional registration step. For the rest of the
offerings, some seminars are merely for learning guidance and not
for credit, while others offer an academic credit option. Consult
the symbol appearing after each numeric credit listed (* or ^ or
@) and the legend on the schedule for specifics on how registration
for academic credit in that seminar is accomplished. Students
enrolled in a seminar for academic credit must be prepared to do
additional academic work associated with the course credit. This
work may take the form of academic papers, seminar presentations,
readings, online discussions, etc. A complete description of
the course requirements can be found under the seminar descriptions
on my.fielding.edu in Student Services/Conferencing and
Events/All Schools Summer Session and in the term syllabus for the course.
