Railway Station, Simple Veg. Lunch and Dinner, Tea/Breakfast, all activities, technical equipments and gear and accomodation on dormitory basis at Rajmachi village)

Cost Excludes: Items purchased of personal nature and any other items not mentioned above

Gathering Information:For Mumbai/Thane Participants

On 3rd April - Participants will have to gather near Cidco (NMMT) bus stop, Thane (West) at 7.15am. We have made arrangements for travelling by private bus. Bus will leave at 7.30am.

Bus Route:

Thane, Kalwa Naka, Vitawa naka, Airoli, Rabale, Turbhe naka, Juinagar, Nerul, Kharghar, Kamothe, Khandala, Lonavala.

For Pune/Lonavala participants: Catch Pune-Lonavala local at Pune 8.05am which reaches Lonavala at 9.25amGather At 9.30am, Ticket Window near Platform No. 1, Lonavala Railway Station.

Return Journey: 6th April 2018.Thane/Mumbai by Local train from Karjat which reaches Thane approx. by 8.00 pmLonavala /Pune by Deccan Queen from Karjat which reaches Lonavala at 7.20pm and Pune station by 8.25pm

Activities included in this Camp are: Trekking Rappelling River/Valley Crossing Jumaring Night trail Awareness of Nature and Environment

Site Seeing: Visit to Historical Monuments Visit Shreewardhan and Manoranjan forts Ancient temple Ulhas Valley

Our association was established in the year 1991 with an objective of creating awareness about nature and environment. It also aims to inculcate a spirit of adventure in the young minds by propagating mountaineering and other adventure sports. We are proud to say that BWNA has successfully organized a number of treks and Adventure Camps for the last twenty one years. All the activities are carried out with a social aspect and on voluntary basis.

This is the 17th consecutive year for the particular activity. Rajmachi is one of the most interesting places for camping near Lonavala.

We can spot two peaks of Rajmachi, higher one is Shreewardhan and smaller one is Manoranjan. The small village at the base of Manoranjan is called Udhewadi. Ulhas Valley is a semi-circular valley bounded on one side by Rajmachi Fort and on the other by Karjat- Khandala Railway Ghat Section. River Ulhas originates from this valley. The area is full of forests all around it.

Rajmachi, located in the Lonavala region is accessible from both Karjat as well as Lonavala.

Rules and Regulations:1. Participants are requested to follow all ethics of Camping such as co-operation with

fellow trekkers, obedience of instructions, caring for the environment etc.2. Addiction in any form of Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking etc is strictly prohibited, if found

guilty of carrying such materials, the participant will be asked to leave the place immediately.

3. Participants are requested to bring extra polythene bags for your waste- plastic and non –biodegradable garbage and take it back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.

4. Please note that our organization is not responsible for the loss or damage to person or property.

5. Any change in Time-Table/Schedule will be informed accordingly to all the participants by the leader; his decision will be final and binding.

6. Any type of music players should not be used in the camp, rather one should listen to the music of nature, and mobile phones should be used as a means of communication, preferably only in case of emergency.

7. Do not destroy/ write on archaeological or historical monuments.
