2.1 Assemble materials: cold caustic, coca cola bottle, wire cutter vinyl gloves,stranded 18 gauge copper wire, ruler (note coke bottle not pictured)

The Klein Tools - Katapult Wire Stripper/Cutter will make this task MUCH easier

Using bare stranded copper wire will save several steps in this process

2.2 Measure 5 inches of wire

2.3 Cut wire with the wire cutter

2.4 set wire aside

2.5 Repeat for 25 wires

2.6 Bend the wire into a hook shape. Untwist and flare both ends of the wire

2.7 Repeat for all 25 wires

2.8 Insert wire into coca cola bottle(note: incorrect bottle pictured)

2.9 Place remaining wires into coca cola bottle(note: incorrect bottle pictured

2.10 Spray cold caustic liquid several times into the bottle. You want to coat the wires and minimize the amount of liquid on the bottom submerging the wires. The submerged wire will not nanocoat.

2.11 Secure cap onto coca cola bottle

2.12 Shake coca cola bottle and swish liquid around to coat the wires

2.13 Leave container to sit for several hours. Tilt container to prevent wires being submerged in liquid if necessary. Time pictured- zero hours

2.14 Cut open the Coca Cola bottle

2.15 Set the wires out to dry
