Before you begin, make sure you have downloaded the Colorgate installers for version 6.33 and 7.00

Select Browse / then save the .cmp �les in the ColorgateBackup folder. Be sure the name of the �le identi�esthe currently selected printer, then click Next / Finish

Install Production Server 6 build 6.33, and Production Server 7

Before you continue, make sure that you have received version 7 keycodes for your Colorgate dongle

Launch the downloaded .exe �les PS6 SetupV6.33 and PS7Setup7.00Use the default settings during install, do not change the install location

Colorgate PS7 will be installed into the above directory. When both installs are complete open Production Server 7

Click Options / Update Dongle...

Click Open Keycode. Locate and open the keycode you have received from Colorgate, it will have a .cky extension

Verify that the Keycode you have openedcontains the correct Device Drivers,Modules And Features, and is Version 7

If a new keycode is missing a feature that is available with your current version 6 setup, do not update the keycode and contactyour local Fuji�lm sales representative.

If the codes are correct Click Update Attached Key / End Program

Colorgate will prompt you to restart, fornow choose not to restart.

Program Settings

Con�guring your Printers

Click Options / Program Settings...

While still in Program Settings, click on the Performance tab

If your keycodes have included the AdobePDF Print Engine, you can con�gure it to be �oating for all licensed printers by selecting the box next to “Use vacant �xed RIP licenses as �oating”

Click OK and restart the software

Click Printer / Open

Browse to the Colorgate Backupfolder on your desktop, then openeach printer you saved fromversion 6

Click General / Change Units to Inches

Colorgate has now been updated to version 7

All opened jobs from PS6 will now be open within PS7. If for some reason you need to revert back to PS6 you can do so

Colorgate Backup

Click Options / MIM Administration. Click Import MIM Files / Next

Open the cmp �le for the printer you currently haveselected

Leave the default settings as Overwrite / click Next

Check the All box listed to the right of Media / Next

*You will need to do this for each printer
