Silent Auction Section 1 – Bidding Open 4:45 - 6:15

1. Four private half-hour guitar lessons by Joe Todd. “This guy is very good.”

2. Five hours of labor by Pinnacle Home Improvement. “This guy is very good too, but not with a guitar.”

3. Twenty hours of labor from a small group of large youth. These young men will spend twenty

hours working at your direction at your home on one or more days before the end of May. 4. A half-hour massage from Massage Envy in Short Pump.

5. $20 Certificate to Plaza Guadalajara restaurant.

6. Cal Ripken autographed baseball worth $100. 7. The Birthday Club…four Christ Church young women will run your child’s birthday party.

Running crafts and games, or serving cake and snacks, these girls will make a party for children 6 to 11 years old a real treat while you chat with friends or work the video camera. Birthday party to take place on an agreed date in 2010 at a mutually agreeable location. No food or admission tickets included.

8. Families and Children by Cliff Bruce of Cliff Bruce Studio. Five portrait packages, each including an 8 x 10 portrait, awarded to up to five bidders with a minimum bid of $75 each. Are you long overdue in having heirloom portraits made of your family and or the kids? Now is a great time to have portraits made that will capture your family at this time in your life. Cliff Bruce, a Richmond portrait photographer, will create portraits either in his studio or at an outside location of your choosing. Sign up now for this auction item to have portraits that you will treasure for a lifetime. This auction item is won by the top five bidders with a minimum bid amount of $75 per session including one 8 x 10 portrait. The regular price for this photography is $390. Please note that there are five of these sessions available for the auction.

game of miniature golf, one small bucket of driving range balls, or five batting cage tokens.

10. Four Lower Bowl tickets to almost any Flying Squirrels game in 2010 season.

17. High School Senior Portraits by Cliff Bruce Studio. Sign up now to have your rising senior’s high school portraits made. Cliff Bruce, a Richmond portrait photographer, will photograph your senior in a two hour portrait session with multiple changes of clothing. This portrait session would be made during July or August of 2010. This auction item is sold at a fixed bid amount of $55 per session including one 5 x 7 and the image for the yearbook. The regular price for this photography is $170. Please note that there are ten of these sessions available for the auction.

Section 2 – Bidding Open 4:45 - 6:30 1. Seven Courses for Eight Be our Guests! You pick the date to be wined and dined for an

elegant evening, specifically designed just for you! You will enjoy a gourmet 7-course gourmet dinner for a party of 8 prepared to your liking at the beautiful home of Judy and Kevin Bunting in the West End! Guests will receive a formal invitation detailing the evening which will include a welcome champagne cocktail, passing hors d’oeuvres, soup, salad, intermezzo, a main entree and dessert! All you need to do is show up with a fun group of friends and your own adult beverages. Kevin and Judy, along with their three girls, will be at your service throughout the evening!

2. After-hours Girls’ Night Out at Two Sweet for eight. Two Sweet is Short Pump’s newest

gourmet cupcake shop. Come enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and other wonderful delectable treats in the shop’s charming and comfortable space. Saturday or Sunday evening from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Must be used in 2010.

3. Spring Lawn & Landscape Clean-up . Provided by ORC Grounds Management – an award winning lawn & landscape design company. Includes edging, weeding, and mulching (up to 15 yards) all landscape areas. All shrubs will be pruned as needed (includes Crape Myrtles). Retail value $700.

4. Coleman 14 foot canoe. Includes two paddles and foam roof mount pads.

5. Intro or novice windsurfing and/or sailing lessons by Joe Jagdmann on windsurfer and sunfish for two or three persons. Boards, sailboat, lunch and snacks provided. To windsurf on this equipment one should be at least five feet tall and weigh at least 100 pounds. This will be an all-day event. To be taken on the Chesapeake Bay or a tributary at a mutually agreeable date.

6. Five more hours of labor by Pinnacle Home Improvement.

7. Twenty more hours of labor from that small group of large youth.

8. SAT class from the best. CSS Tutoring Services, owned by Carolyn Scanniello, consistently provides outstanding results for their students. Several Christ Church parents are satisfied references to that claim. This item includes one free SAT group class with seven hours of instruction and materials, a $520 value.

9. Four thirty-minute tutoring sessions for elementary or middle school students in any subject,

from Brittany Anderson and Maggy McGloin. 10. Gourmet four-course dinner for eight prepared by Karen Akens and delivered to your home.

Menu to focus on local “farm to table” fare and to be mutually agreed upon with buyer – many delectable choices available! This treat includes wait-service and clean-up by Nicholas and Hailey Akens.

11. Dinner and symphony tickets for two with Dave and Karen Soule. Choices are Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto (March 20) or Saint-Saёns’ Organ Symphony with Richmond Symphony Chorus (May 15). Dinner will be at a downtown restaurant as the Soules’ guests.

12. Baked delights galore from Christ Church youth. Includes two dozen cookies, one pan of brownies, and one dozen cupcakes, provided in one or several batches at a mutually agreeable time or times.

13. Day sailing on a Chesapeake Bay tributary with Robert Nicol on a 14 foot Catalina Capri sailboat. Accommodates two persons plus Robert. Date to be mutually agreed upon in 2010.

14. Bon Jovi Tickets. Two seats to this sold out concert on Monday, March 29th at 7:30 p.m. at the Verizon Center. Seats are in Section 427, Row M, Seats 1 & 2.

16. Pregnancy and Newborn Photography by Susan Bruce of Cliff Bruce Studio. Are you or a relative planning to have a baby? Susan Bruce will create a beautiful pregnancy portrait of you or tender portraits of your newborn baby. There are three sessions available to bid on with a minimum bid of $45 per session including one 5 x 7 portrait. The regular price for this photography is $240. Please note that there are three of these sessions available for the auction. Either purchase this item for yourself or to be used as a gift.

The game is expected to be scheduled on a Friday or Saturday evening in August against an opponent to be named later.
