2018 was a year of future planning and transition for the Community Foundation Serving Greeley and Weld County.

After celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2017, the Board of Directors felt it was a pivotal time to pause, to look back at where we have come and where we should be going, and to

develop a roadmap for our next several years.

While embarking on the development of a strategic plan, much of the year was taken up by listening to our donors and our community partners and to learn lessons from you about how the Foundation’s past should carry it into the future. You provided the Foundation’s board with insightful feedback, helpful suggestions, brilliant ideas, and wise counsel. We sincerely thank you for those contributions,

and for the even more precious gift of your time.

From your feedback, a strategic plan has been crafted, and the Foundation looks forward to serving you even better than before and

to promote philanthropy in all its forms throughout Weld County.

The year was not only a year of planning, it was also a year of growth. The Foundation continues to expand and to serve

donors and the causes that are important to you. It has always been the Foundation’s privilege to serve in these capacities, and we look forward to our ongoing partnerships to

make meaningful impacts in our communities.

ScholarshipsThe Community Foundation awarded 100

scholarships in excess of $225,000 to students from Weld County schools, college and universities.

Scholarships were awarded from 39 different funds.
