They offer these coursesat approved facilities at their branches in Lumut and Kota Kinabalu and also for the Marine Police in Johor Bahru. B) Marine Specialized Courses
Apart from public programs, Pelorus is developing several courses to tailor made to the requirements of Putrajaya, Petronas and several power plants.
C)Occupational Safety & Health Courses
They have offered various courses to the public, mainly for the oil & gas, ports and shipping companies. Most of the programs are the first of its kind in Malaysia and some in the region. These courses are mostly offered on site including onboard vessels specifically for the customers.
D) Cruise Tasik Putrajaya
Officially launched in 30 August 2003 by the then Prime Minister Dato Seri Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad, Cruise Tasik Putrajaya (CTP) is an initiative by Perbadanan Putrajaya, the city’s authority and administrator.
Cruise services include sightseeing tours by perahu boats or air-conditioned cruise boats which also offer a dining cruise experience. Other tours include love boat ride, cocktail cruise, tea cruise, lakeside dinner, party/karoake cruise and private boat charters for functions or events.
Pelorus as the cruise service provider in Putrajaya, CTP was set up to tap into the recreational potential of the unique 650 hectare man-made lake and wetlands which spans across the city’s landscape. CTP also serves to complement the city’s tourism appeal, allowing visitors to see and marvel at the many stunning sights and landmarks from a unique perspective.
Sights and landmarks covered by CTP cruises include Putra Mosque, Darul Ehsan Palace, Ministry of Finance, Ser Wawasan Bridge, Millennium Monument, Palace of Justice, Ser Saujana Bridge, Perdana Leadership Foundation, Putrajaya International Convention Centre, Seri Gemilang Bridge, Perdana Putra (Prime Minister’s office) and Putra Bridge.
The CTP office and ticketing counter is located at Jeti Putra, underneath Putra Bridge. Entrance to Jeti Putra is from the Dataran Putra, where the Putra Mosque and Prime Minister’s office is located.
E) Knowledge Technology K A M A R I K A™
KNOWLEDGE TECHNOLOGY acts as an engine or system that can help human in the translation of facts and information into knowledge.
K A M A R I K A™ originated from two oldest terms used in the world, ‘KAMA’ (Old Hindu language), which refer to desire and ‘RIKA’ (Latin language), which refer to excellence. The combination of both terms creates a simple, yet meaningful belief – “Desire for Excellence”.
K A M A R I K A™ is an act or behavior, based on our own personality who always wanted to be excellent. The real meanings behind the term excellent for each human being in this world are the success for them in making this world peace and finding out solution in finding peace.
By looking at the previous leadership and motivation program that conducted by K A M A R I K A™, it largely shows how our concept really affects PERODUA as one of our previous clients who believes that our program helped them in improving the number of car’s production from 2,600 units monthly to 9,000 units monthly.
In addition, K A M A R I K A™ program that are sponsored by Perodua helped in improving the SPM result for Sekolah Menengah Kangkong Pasir Mas, Kelantan, from ordinary pyramid oriented SPM result into an opposite-shaped pyramid oriented SPM result. The school managed to become one of the highest ranked schools in Kelantan and it was all based on technique & system of knowledge technology used in K A M A R I K A™.
