    10) Centering the QA phantom as like in figure, verifying that the vertical red lines include the cylinder of the phantom and the horizontal lines are to the half of the inner spheres of the phantom.

    First scout view

    11) Now it is possible to label the head support:

Stick on the arrow to a height of 4.5cm from the lower border of “y axis head support cover part the 1” (the arrow will be over the M4x10 TB central screw).

Stick on the rulers on the “z axis head support cover part 1” making to correspond the write “QA” to the tip of the arrow stick on previously.

    4.5cm

Stick on the arrow to the center of the "plexiglass upper plate". Stick on the ruler to the "z axis head support cover part 2" making to correspond the "D" letter to the tip of the arrow stick on previously.

    Rev 1.1 – April 22, 2009 Page 19 of 24

  • Pull out completely the head support by means of a keyboard buttons. Stick on the ruler on the "upper tube cover" and making to correspond the “D” letter to the border of the “y axis head support cover part 1”.
