We’re always try- ing to do something about this, but I’m offering something special this fall. On Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00 I’ll be offering His Story. We’ll be learning the single story that runs like a thread from Genesis to Revelaon. I taught this class at OBU two or three semesters some years ago. It’s a college level class. Our textbook is the Bible. If you can jump in on this opportunity, I en- courage you to do so. You will have a greater understanding of God and His word as we trace His Story. Sign up at the Pastor’s Table in the foyer. On Sunday aſternoon August 30 from 4-6, I’ll be leading another round of FBC 101. This me we are going to do this in lieu of our monthly evening worship service. This class is typically for new members and those interested in learning more about the church. We’ll talk about where we’ve come from, what we believe, what we value, and how we funcon. This is good for all of us. I encourage you to be here. Teenagers and older children are welcome. Childcare will be provided for younger children. Amy Porter has done a great job organizing our Come On In Carnival. Thanks, Amy. As we con- nue this learning/serving theme, we’ll be thinking together this week about serving. God has giſted you with the capacity to serve Him in the church and/or the world.
