LPP Art.Description

As Headspace-Vials have to withstand high internal pressure, all illustrated vials have a wall thickness of 1.2mm. Thus it

is guaranteed that the vial will not burst. Contrary to a widely spread opinion the seal - and not the vial - represents the

weakest part of the whole system. Under pressure the septa will bulge against the Aluminium Cap with such a force that

the cap is torn apart. By own testing we varified that e.g. our vials can easily withstand 10 bars or more, while the seal is

torn apart around 10 bars when no pressure release system - like our Headspace Cap - is used.

As the liners vary strongly in their total thicknesses, it is essential to use a

crimper, that is adjustable in crimping height (screw up or down the

inner part of the crimping head with a hexagon key) and in crimpingpressure (Screw in the handle).
