SYNOPSIS REPORT

LOCATION: , Pr~pe11ocated 3 miles N • Vi. of Oatman. in Mohave County.

METALS: " ,,~!. .

VErn: 14ain vein, with quartz and calcite gangue, is 60 feet wide, runs parallel and adjacent to a quartz-porphyry dike, also 60 feet wide, both vein and dike occurring on contact between Andesite on hanging and quartz-monzonite on foot wall. Strike of both vein and dike N. 80 deg. W; dip nearly vertical. The said vein and dike also traverse an adjoining mine kn~m 8S

the Gilpin, or Times Mine, described in another report I have . written on this date. These two groups should be handled to

gether in the event of a deal. '

OTHER VEmS: The main vein above mentioned is intersected by two other veins of' same type, gangue matter being also quartz and calcite. These intersecting veins, striking N. E. and S. W., are each 30 teet wide, outcropping boldly above the surface., shOWing gold values at interVals.

DEV. WeRK: One shaft 150 teet deep is sunk near the interseotion of the main vein and one of the said intersecting veins. This shaft shows no values as it was put down in country roek. Also, a tunnel 70 feet in length was jriven on an intersecting vein, and shows assays, per Martin, of 0.5 ounce gold per ton. Other work oonsists of · open cut.s and pits along vein outcrops, some of which show gold ore in place.

r Le) This property, in conjunction with the Gilpin mine{,t~ has ali the ear-marks that it will make a large and valuable milling propos it_ion , if developed along intelligent and aggressive lines. Both these properties are reoommended as attractive gold prospects to any company willing to risk some money in their development.
