Production Rate About 22 tons of Uranium ore has been stockpiled since work started • No shipments have been made to date.

Geology A vein about 40 inches wide, 24 inches of same containing Uranium Values, has been found ·between a hanging wall of shale and. a footwall ·of granite. . This vein dips about 80 degrees to the southwest and has been traced to date for a length of about 60 ft. The vein material is highly c.ompleJ[, containing chiefly magnetite, hematite, limonite, calcite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and copper oxides and appears to 'be highly siliceous. The Atomic Energy Co~ission has repQrted that the Uranium contained in this vein is chiefly Uraninite, together with a small amount of autunite. Other ore pockets are also reported.

Ore Values Mr. Brooks estimates that a 15 ton stockpile near the workings will average about 1.5 % Uranium, and that a small' ore pile of about 7 tons will average about 0.9 % Uranium. He expects the ore mined will average close to 1.5 %. ~ estimates, judging from the geiger counter readings on same is somewhat less, but may approximate 1.0 %.
