Whilst the T5 Eco lamp option is available with integral emergency kits to run the lamps in emergency mode, the LED version does not yet have this ability. Therefore a remotely housed LED based emergency kit can be used.

The emergency LED unit is supplied in a stylish aluminium housing with spring clips for easy installation into a Ø45mm cutout. It is available in 45° and 60° beam angles and includes a 1mm green healthy charge indicator.

Spacings of around 4 to 6m would suit most applications, achieving 1lux over an escape route .

All emergency kits are generally supplied as unmonitored (not self-test) as standard but DALI monitoring is available on request.

EMERGENCY OPTIONS

The CC range is availabe with either LED panels or T5 Eco lamps and for optimum efficiency, we recommend the LED version. We use Philips Fortimo LED panels, paired with alu-minium heat management plates. This allows us to achieve industry leading LED efficiency. Philips LEDs are future-proof, meaning that in several years time, when LED technology and efficiency has improved further, the LED panels (and possibly drivers) can be swapped for more efficient modules, without having to change the luminaire.

The more traditional T5 lamp option will still save on energy costs as the CC range is designed to suit Philips T5 Eco lamps. Lamps can be run overlapped to ensure a continuous light run without shadow gaps.

Note on Lengths:LED version - can be ordered to any length starting from 600mm and going up nominally in 300mm increments. T5 version - must be ordered to suit lamp lengths, so nominally in 1.2m or 1.5m increments.
