fractured fairy tale, 5th grade projectTRANSCRIPT
The next day they
buried father’s body, and
people came from town to
share their condolences.
Cooper was mad at the rac-
coons, so he was going to
try to get revenge. When
Cooper’s father was dying
the raccoon stole father’s
magical powers and many
valuables.
The next day Cooper was talking to Holly about the raccoons and father. Holly
said “How about I build you a cornstalk so you can it and get into the tree”.
“That’s a good idea” Cooper replied. “When are you going to climb the corn-
stalk” Holly asked?
“I’ll climb it tomorrow night” Cooper answered. The next day Holly said
“Today’s the day you climb the cornstalk” “I forgot today’s the day I climb the
cornstalk” said Cooper.
Soon it became dawn; Cooper grabbed his bags and was on his way. He
climbed up the cornstalk to get the powers. He snuck up the tree and found the
powers glowing. He was an inch away until the raccoon said “GOING SOME-
WHERE?!!!!!!! When Cooper heard the raccoon he jumped and then asked
“Who is there”. The raccoon said “No time to explain just give me my powers”
“No” replied Cooper. Then the raccoon pressed a button that said TRAP. Cooper
then fell to the ground into a large beehive. Then the raccoon snuck back into
bed.
The next morning when Cooper hadn’t come
back Holly was very worried, so she said to
herself “I just can’t leave Cooper”. Holly
couldn’t just leave him, so she was going to
climb the cornstalk. When she was up in the
raccoon’s tree she looked everywhere but she
couldn’t find him. Then she saw a beehive.
Just then she heard somebody yell. “Where’s
my feast”? It was the raccoon. All of a sud-
den the beehive wasn’t there. Holly saw the
mama raccoon lift the top off the beehive
Cooper popped his head up and Holly saw
him and said to herself “Here is my chance to
get Cooper”. Then all of a sudden Holly ran
across the room and grabbed the beehive
with Cooper in it and tried to find a place to
hide. In the next 5 minutes Cooper had all of
his energy back. Then Cooper ran into the
room and slammed the beehive in the faces
of the raccoons. When Cooper was sure the
raccoons weren’t breathing Cooper ran to the
cornstalk and got everything back. Cooper
and his family lived happily ever after!
