THE BRAND HERITAGE

OUR STORYEstablished in 1976, Sunice is the result of a meeting between a clothing designer and a manufacturer of police and firefighters’ uniforms. By applying the quality and protection aspects of the uniforms to insulated outerwear, Sunice developed performance wear of unprecedented quality for outdoor enthusiasts.

In 1982, Sunice outfitted its first expedition to Mount Everest. Two years later the company was chosen to create clothing for the Summer Olympics. Then, in 1988, Sunice was selected as an “Official Supplier” to the 1988 Winter Olympics. Sunice had clearly become a recognized expert and leader in the technical outerwear industry with

a brand that offered not only fashionable products, but a superior fit to amateur and professional athletes alike.

In 1992, Sunice introduced a golf outerwear line founded on the same philosophy of quality and protection with garments that are consistently windproof, breathable, featherweight and durable.

The Sunice Spring 2013 collection introduces golf’s most effective multi-layer performance system. Designed not only to shield and protect golfers from the elements, the new Sunice Performance System also helps golfers of all levels to perform at their very best in all possible weather conditions. In addition to the existing Sunice Performance Shell outerwear line comprised of 3 performance categories, Sunice is integrating two performance midlayers, as well as Sunice Silver, a technical golf shirt base layer.All three layers combine to improve overall protection against the elements and enhance performance.

Silver is at the core of X-static® technology and is recognized as one of the most natural and effective anti-microbial agents in the world. Silver has great thermo regulating, anti-odour and anti-static properties. Combined with Sunice’s Flow-Dry™ & Silver Coollite™ moisture management fabrics, this collection offers the very best in high performance golfwear. By permanently bonding a layer of 99,9% pure silver to the surface of a textile fiber, we are able to offer golfers the benefits of silver. X-static¨ visible technology offers performance features incomparable to any other moisture wicking collection.

The Sunice brand is the leader in high performance technical fabrics. When entering the golf shirt category our sole focus was to identify a fabric technology that was going to deliver the highest level of performance available on the market. The success of the Sunice Silver polo category has led to the expansion into a fully merchandised collection featuring polos, sweaters and bottoms. X-Static® is the ultimate example of the fusion of various types of performance characteristics into one fabric.

A single-knit polo like no other. Sunice delivers again with a Silver Collection polo that is lighter and cooler than anything we’ve ever done. Once you experience the benefits of Silver it’s hard to imagine a technical shirt without it. Keep cool & swing freely with Silver Coollite™.

Even though X-Static® technology fibres already possess moisture transfer properties, Sunice Flow-Dry™ further accelerates the dissipation of moisture from the skin into the atmosphere. Sunice Flow-Dry™ is a proven technical leader in performance golf apparel.

THERMODYNAMICThermal conductivity: In warm weather, when conduction is the primary means of heat transfer, X-Static® enhances the body’s natural actions by accelerating the conduction from the body. Apparel without X-Static® technology would simply be a barrier to heat conduction. Silver is the most thermally conductive element on the planet. X-Static®, therefore, works quickly to evenly distribute and transfer heat through the product.

MOISTURE WICKINGX-Static® enhances the natural movement of moisture through hydrophobic materials by using evaporation. When X-Static® is placed in a moist environment with another hydrophobic material; the conductivity of X-Static® will act to accelerate evaporation. This allows for moisture to be transported away from the body faster creating a dryer, more comfortable environment.

ANTI-ODOROdor comes from bacteria or microbes. The anti-microbial characteristics of silver prevent the growth of bacteria therefore eliminating potential odors.

Garments manufactured using X2O™ fabric also possess superior breathability and wickable attributes. X2O-CT™ textured fabric provides body and is coated for additional water repellency.

Super Lite FX™ represents a collection of items geared towards providing the ultimate lightweight comfort fo layering.

Experience a proven “Tour Favorite” with one of the lightest stretch fabrics in rainwear that the market has to offer. With its soft hand feel, ultra lightweight and advanced technical characteristics, Zephal™ will pave the road to the ultimate in comfort and performance. Backed with a 3 year waterproof guarantee, Zephal™ is also a proprietary fabric to Sunice.

Protek 3L™ construction offers a soft knit on the outside, an exclusive laminate in the middle and a super soft fleece finish on the inside. Extreme stretch, water repellency and comfort that will keep you in the zone and focused. Protek™ and Protek 3L™ softshells provide the ultimate freedom of movement and comfort you have grown to expect from Sunice.

Sunice applies Wx Tech™, an exclusive patented finish to all outerwear shells. Wx Tech’s™ unique formula allows air to flow freely through the fibres maintaining maximum breathability of the garment and the ability to repel water. began to develop an outerwear collection that lends itself to being a

lightweight, packable garment to be stowed away for those unforeseen

showers and cool days. This direction led to the creation of StormPack.

The Collection has grown over the years from one basic suit to include

wind shirts, system jackets, and a full women’s collection in an array of

fresh new colours.

Today’s consumer demands quality items that will last. This is the

philosophy behind the design of the StormPack Collection. A simple,

classic, functional suit with a touch of colour to brighten up a dreary

day. Sporty cuts accented with subtle trim details create a timeless

item that can be worn on or off the golf course. Fabrics are specifically

chosen to be soft, lightweight, noiseless and have a supple hand feel.

StormPack is a garment that you know you can rely on to keep you

protected from the elements.

Windproof. Fabric is treated to keep wind from

penetrating the inner micro climate.

Water Repellent Treatment. Extra protection is applied

to the surface of the garment to protect against water

and stains. Increases water repellency by allowing water

to bead off the surface shell and dry quickly.

Breathable. Moisture wicking stretch tricot lining

draws moisture away from the body and quickly

transfers it to the outer surface to dissipate into

the air. All garments are functionally designed to

provide ultimate breathability.

Windproof. Fabric is treated to keep wind from

penetrating the inner micro climate.

Waterproof. Water does not penetrate StormPack’s

1,200 mm to 3,000 mm performance fabric.

Breathable. Moisture wicking stretch tricot lining
