especially if that video is a part of a video series.

However, be sure to include http:// on your links, otherwise it will not be clickable.

4. Provide a shout out to your collaborators

Give credit to people you have worked with on making your YouTube video possible

(interviewee, director, collaborator etc.)

So, if they have websites or YouTube channels, include those links on your video descriptions.

5. Keep your description short and sweet

Your description doesn’t need to be very long. On average just a paragraph or two explaining

the contents of your video and any details about it you want viewers to know about it.

Even though YouTube has a 5,000 character limit for descriptions, you don’t need to write a

whole essay in order to explain your video. In fact, the video should explain itself.

What you can do is give a brief summary about your video no more than a couple of paragraphs

long. The more concise and compelling you make your description, the more people will want to

watch your video.
