KINDERGARTEN CLASSES + Kindergarten classes are for double-periods and last 1 ½ hours.

The children will rotate through the 4 classes, including an outside time for play & snack every day. These four class sessions will increase the variety of learning activities for the children…taking on a passport of adventure to Hawai’i; home to California; to a land of imagination through fairy tales; music and movement; and fun activities outside. PLEASE NOTE: If they are taking these classes with friends and would like to stay in a cluster with them … please make note of their friends’ names on your form at the time of registration. Bring your stories to life! Each day kids will hear a story, and then have the chance to have

it pop off the pages in dances. One storybook will be learned and performed at the Open

House.

Do fairy tales enchant you? Come experience the magic of reading fairy tales, then dancing

Have you ever wished you could be in a High School Musical dance? Then this is the class

for you! Learn and perform the choreography from your favorite movie dances! Come

Ever find yourself moving to the beat? Then step up is the class for you! Boys and girls

alike will learn hip-hop moves and get the chance to enjoy moving’ to the music. The class

will learn a hip hop routine to be performed at the Open House.


GLEE JR. Savannah Fisch

Do you like to sing? Join us as we learn to sing and move to fun, upbeat songs (Disney,

Broadway, etc.) and then perform them for the Open House! We will go over proper vocal

techniques, melodies, harmonies and choreographed movements for each song! So—sign up

for our show choir class and have a blast!!

SPANISH IMMERSION Amy Swirsky

Kids will learn Spanish through FUN-filled culturally-based lessons that include games, art, music and lots of movement. The class is taught primarily in Spanish with very little English spoken except when necessary. by MBI leadership with RINCON –PINO! The cost is: FREE! AT REGISTRATION: All students (plus one relative) MUST sign-up during registration,

separately, on table inside for the ALL DAY field trip to SANTA CRUZ ISLAND on July 19th / Cost = $63 per person. Make checks to: “Unlimited Learning Center.”

ON SHORE LAB: MBI Leaders will present a program on JULY 18th: Cost = FREE: at Channel Islands National Park / Visitor’s Center. We shall also view a live diver

where MBIs get to speak to divers underwater.

Do you like to play games? In this class you will play many games that are easy to

play, make and take home. This class will keep you and your friends entertained all

summer long – and it’s a perfect way to add enjoyment to your family game night,

Get a stamp in your passport from each country you visit though art including:

mask-making using an African folktale; Chinese silk painting, Japanese rubbings,

The students will form small groups and use different types of hands-on building

tools for children (like: Legos, K’Nex and Zomes, etc.) to create building sites (hospital, library, bank, zoo, school, library, etc.) that will then connect to the rest

of the class buildings to form a city.

This 4-string wonder in the hands of 2nd-6th grade wonders is a sure-fire equation to

great music from around the world: chords, strumming, chanting and moving to the beat

of the strum.

Ever wanted to be in a band and told you were too “small?” Not in our flutophone /
