Expectations… To design and develop a website that
would be an aid to our ag students as they entered the job world.Once I started the course I found that it was hard to follow the CTAP requirements.
As I complete this course I want to design a website for the courses I teach.
Actual Learning… I learned how to do research using the
internet. I learned how to use my computer
more skillfully. I learned how to attack and fix
computer problems and challenges.
Successes & Shortcomings…
The lesson was successful in that the students found a tool that they could see as useful for them in the immediate future. The material offered was pertinent to them to the point where they voiced their approval of the lesson many times.
Shortcomings were few, definitely a winner!
Successes “In a Nutshell”…
Satisfaction for both student and teacher.

Conclusion…Many of our students leaving high school are
entering the job market. For most, without adequate training and guidance, this can be extremely intimidating and frustrating. I firmly believe, this lesson on personal job interview skills will have a direct impact on many of those students. Many students have the ability to perform well at a chosen job. The hard part is obtaining that job when they are in direct competition with others. This lesson will give them the added tool needed to compete at a high level.
