One of the key activities of DDP in Indonesia is the improvement of milk collection. This is done by training farmers and the introduction of cooled milk collection points (MCPs). In September 2015 Frisian Flag Indonesia introduced an automated MCP in Los Cimaung Pangalengan, West Java involving 189 farmers. The programme has proven successful with an average increase in farmers’ income of 10% and an increase in production of 10% after three months.
