attendance area, please call anonymously to 708-271-4400.

STUDENT HANDBOOK

To be successful in high school, students must be organized. For each of their classes, they need to know

what the assignments are and when they are due. By knowing these two items, students may then develop a

plan to complete their assigned work and projects. The student handbook provides the opportunity for

students to maintain an accurate record of assignments and their due dates. The handbook also provides

students with useful information about Thornridge High School including the dress code and discipline

policy. Every Thornridge student will be given a student handbook at schedule pick-up. Please make certain

that your student reads his/her student handbook. The information which it contains will also be helpful to

parents or guardians. Parents are encouraged to review the student’s handbook often.

***Parents will be required to attend a mandatory discipline presentation during registration. All

parents must attend registration.
