Westminster Presbyterian Church is a covenant family of believers called by God to fulfill His purposes here in Laurel, and as a staging ground for worldwide kingdom growth where we seek to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ – to fill the earth with disciples, subdue it redemptively for God’s glory, and worship Him joyfully. We are being redeemed and equipped by the Spirit to build up one another until the Lord returns.

CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN Holy and gracious Father, You have a most scandalous way of rescuing proud people: The One who possesses real authority to assert His rights lays them aside to humbly serve and die for us. We beseech Your forgiveness for our pride which has destroyed our ability to truly love and care for others. We confess that selfish ambition has caused squabbling and discord among us. Pardon us for our status-seeking ways, and consume us with the only status that matters: Proximity to You, our humble Lord. For we pray in the Name of the One to whom every knee will bow and every tongue confess — Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Westminster Presbyterian Church Christmas Poinsettias

Young Adults Class Christmas Party will be held tonight at 6:00 PM at the home of Steve and Denise Morgan. Nursery will be provided at the church.

Christmas Eve Service- Please join us on Monday, December 24th at 6:00 PM for our Christmas Eve Communion Service. If you ordered a poinsettia, you may take it home with you after the service.

Mother’s Morning Out Holiday Schedule-Mother’s Morning Out will be closed on December 25th for Christmas.

Ladies Bible Study will start meeting again on Tuesday, January 8th at 9:30 AM in Room 7. The class is led by Barbara Holt. We will continue with our study of the book of James. Please join us.

Our Wednesday Night programs will resume on January 9th. At this time we have a need for someone to teach our children in the 2nd - 6th grade class. If you would be willing to volunteer for 30 minutes per week in this area, please contact Kristen Graves or the church office.

Bridal Shower - The ladies will host a bridal shower in honor of Brittany Poole on Sunday, January 20th at 2:00 PM in the fellowship room. She is registered at Amazon and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
