1. Board President Jim Carter called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm and stated a quorum was present

Service Providers Present: Mac Hohenberger, Fire Chief-Argyle VFD; Mike Duncan, Fire Chief, Roanoke FD; and

Board President Carter convened the board into closed session at 6:32pm pm pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas

Government Code, Section 551.071, Consultation with Attorney an executive session may be held at any time during the meeting

should a need arise for the Commissioners to seek advice from the ESD's Attorney as to the posted subject matter of this meeting,

3. Discussions relating to extension of Freeport Tax Exemption for Aircraft Parts

Commissioner Haynes moved to approve Resolution 15-1021 of the Denton County Emergency Services District

No. 1 to extend the Freeport Tax Exemption for "Aircraft Parts" pursuant to Section 11.251 of the Texas Tax

Code, amended. 2"̂ ^ by Commissioner Amarante

B. Vice President's Report

1. Commissioner Haynes discussed the necessity of having the board retreat in early 2016. Consensus of the board

was to host the event every other year beginning in 2017

Commissioner Haynes mentioned he had spoken to a group of young men over the weekend who were service

oriented association and was very impressed with the level of maturity wanting to be active members of their

community and assist in any way they could

Fire Chief Hohenberger stated he attended a meeting with City of Denton reps. Commissioner Andy Eads and

others about plans for a future road to the Robson Ranch Community from new fire station (Old Justin

Road/Cleveland Gibbs Road)

E. Assistant Treasurer's Report

1. Future Growth Liaison Report- No update on current/future development within the District
