Object of research – special form of glow discharge with small anode. It is interesting that in certain conditions (radius of needle, gas pressure and discharge current) plasma localizes on the end of the needle. The scale of microplasma source – tenths of millimeter.

Experimental devices of three types were created, initial investigations shown their workability were carried out.

Microplasma source of coherent radiation was designed and constructed. Experiments on estimation of coherence of radiation were carried out.

Air plasma flow generator was designed and constructed. Power source of this device was constructed as well.The methods of measurements of integral and local characteristics of plasma flow and initiating discharge, spectroscopic investigations of plasma flow, spreading to atmosphere were carried out.Chemical composition of flow was measurement.

Aspirating counter ACAI-02-GDT.

The device for investigation of the charge composition of air and air-plasma flows was based on the discharge principle, that is for simultaneous measurement of ions concentrations with mobility higher or equal the ultimate one. The device consists of an aspirating chamber, power sources, a signal amplifier, a digital voltmeter-oscillograph and a computer.
