Shaheed Muhammad Naveed Younus, the President of Drug Free Pakistan Foundation had a constructive thinking for his country for he truly worked day in day out for the eradication of drug abuse in Pakistan. He established New Horizons Care Center (NHCC) which is the first 100% free treatment & rehabilitation center for drug addicts. When he took this bold initiative, he was most popularly known as a businessman of chemicals & dyes. But soon his untiring efforts were recognized not only locally but on global forums where he was appreciated by every class and society. In 2009 he became the first Pakistani to be elected as the Vice President of Asian Federation for Therapeutic Communities. It was his restless endeavor towards a noble cause that he was given titles like an unarmed Soldier and a messiah towards the needy.

On 13th August 2010, this national hero was laid to rest by the black hearted culprits of drug mafia in Karachi. Although his deficiency may never be filled, but his planted seed is flourishing day by day for he left behind a team of motivated individuals carrying his cause ahead with strong devotion and motivation.

Anti Narcotics Welfare Society, (ANWS) Wazirabad is one of those local organizations who have decided to take the initiative of Shaheed Naveed Younus Ahead and for this purpose ANWS in collaboration with DFPF has established a local subdivision of Shaheed Naveed Younus Center (SNYC) in Pathanwali, Wazirabad. SNYC Wazirabad will provide 100% free treatment

and rehab services to drug addicts in whole Punjab specifically, Wazirabad and its surrounding cities. President ANWS Mr. Muhammad Jameel Cheema along with President DFPF Mr. Muhammad Sohail Younus laid the foundation stone for Shaheed Naveed Younus Center (SNYC) Wazirabad on 28th April 2011.
