The Brief eCentric Marketing was the brainchild of an old friend and colleague of mine in partnership with a new colleague looking to take their knowledge and expertise out to the wider market. They just needed a brand that fitted their personalities to work with.   Having worked with both parties I felt that my input would benefit their cause in creating an iconic brand that would last them for years and had room to grow inline with their business objectives. The briefed requirements for the website were as follows:

■  Logo development ■  Core brand development including basic guidelines ■  Sales support collateral development (business cards,

standard document templates, business admin documents)

■  Website digital branding ■  Website digital content planning ■  Social media channel development ■  Social media branding ■  Social media content strategy ■  Social media content management 3-6 months ■  Personal profile branding ■  Training

The Concept Box. What Box? Creativity is a solely unique selling point to most agencies and the eCentric boys we’re like no other in their digital prowess and their ability to quickly understand their clients requirements and creatively isolate key development areas and highlight these to clients. The trick is doing it well, not doing yourself out of the actual work, my aim was to get this point across through the branding.   No Bull The company wanted to offer a fully transparent customer journey with a straight up approach with absolutely no Bulls**t. Easier said than done, this USP was to underpin key proposition messaging and positioning.

Propositions The core for any business, the guys at eCenrtic wanted me to individualise each of their propositions with umbrella personalities that could support on individualised services when drilldown in the website and collateral Offline vs Online As an agency service provider eCentric propositions focused heavily in the digital sector that meant the style used would need to work for both online and off. This naturally meant scalable sized art working for digital and the ability to scale up for high definition for offline. Naturally this led me to a balance of illustration and imagery to help achieve this.
