With two rivers & high rainfall, the City of Breda

needed a comprehensive water management

system. Now, it can analyze & visualize massive

data collected by sensors and pumps around the

city and even predict pump in real time. Citizens

participate by sending water observations through

social media. The city has reduced maintenance

costs and is better able to prevent flooding.

“This year, taxpayers relied on new technologies, which made the

application simple, intuitive and easy to use. In addition, they benefited

from great support from the SAT staff, who each day offered an efficient

& transparent service: this is a great example of technological

innovation & human talent working together for the growth of Mexico.

During the annual tax season, the federal agency processes millions of

documents from both individuals and businesses. SAT used the

Microsoft tax collection application to process 100 percent of online

tax returns this year—with zero downtime and no major incidents.
