Directions for Placing Online Orders

Existing Customers:

New Customers:

Starting from the home page, click on “Create a New Account”.

Starting from the home page, click on the “Login” tab.

Enter your email address and your password and click “Enter” to sign into your account. You will then be ready to begin shopping!

You will begin by completing the first name field, last name field, and name of your company, if that field applies to you. If not, leave the field blank.

You will then complete the billing address, the address where you receive your credit card bill.

If your shipping address is the same as your billing address, simply click this button, and the information will transfer for you.

If your shipping address is different from your billing address, complete the shipping address fields with your address, an address where you could receive items if you were ordering for yourself.

You will then need to provide us your daytime and evening contact numbers in case we have questions about your order.

You will then be ready to enter your email address, create a password for your account, and re-enter the password so that the system can verify it.

Then click on Submit. This will take you to the home page to begin shopping.

Shopping:

If you forget your password, click on “Forgot your password?” and enter your email address. Your password will be emailed to you shortly.

From the left hand side of the page, choose the product that would like to purchase by clicking on the product tab.

This will take you to the information screen of that particular product.

You will then change the quantity to reflect the number of items that you would like to order of that product.

If you are placing the order to ship to yourself, then you would leave the ship to field as “Myself”.

If you are shipping to an existing gift recipient, click on the drop down arrow and choose the recipient from the list.

If you need to add a new recipient, simply click on “New Recipient”.

You will then complete these fields to enter the recipient’s name, shipping address, and telephone numbers (optional).

If you are placing the order for yourself to pick up, leave the recipient as “Myself”, and flag the “Pickup” box for each product that you order.

Once you have chosen the item, the quantity, and the recipient, you are now ready to add the item(s) to your cart. Simply click “Add to Cart”.

Once you click “Add to Cart” you will be able to see your shopping cart.

If you want to continue shopping, click an item on the product tab on the left hand side of the screen and continue with the same process.

If you need to edit any information for the recipient, click his or her name.

Once you click his or her name, you will see the recipient’s shipping information. Change the information that needs to be updated and click “Continue” to save the changes.

At this point, you can also place your order on hold for up to 3 days.

Important: your cheese is not reserved until it is paid for. If you do not pay for your order within 3 days, it will automatically be canceled.

If you wish to place your order on hold, simply click “Hold”.

If you have finished shopping, click” Checkout”.

You will then be on the shipping information screen. This is where you will choose the shipping method that you prefer. UPS ground is the default setting. If you need to change that, you simply click on the drop down arrow and make your selection.

This screen is also where you need to add your gift message and gift signature. If none is provided, we will use the name as it appears on your account.

NOTE: If you want a different message on one of the gifts, you can edit the message on the “Review Order” page. You can enter a unique gift message for each recipient.

For the shipping date, you can either choose your own ship date from the calendar, or you can choose a pre-selected ship date from the drop down arrow.

NOTE: If you choose your own ship date for cheese orders, it must be a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday from November through April.

Once you have entered all the shipping information for your recipients, click on the “Continue” button. This will take you to the “Review Your Order” screen.

Here you need to check your order to insure that everything is correct. If you discover an error, you can click on the recipient’s name (that name is a hyperlink), and you will be able to edit any information for him or her, including an individual gift message.

Once you have insured that everything is correct, you must agree to the web store policy to continue checkout.

You will begin by entering your name in the cardholder’s name field, your credit card type, your credit card number, credit card expiration date, and your email address.

Then click continue.

You will then be brought to this screen to verify that your information is correct.

Once you have verified the information, click “Confirm”.

You are now on the “Payment Information” screen. Remember, after three days your order will not be reserved online without payment!

NOTE: Click the confirm button only once to keep from duplicating your order and charging your credit card twice!

This will be a copy of your receipt.

If you would like to print a copy of your receipt for your records, click on “Print.”

You will then just click on the print tab again.

Once your credit card is successfully processed, your web browser will automatically return to msucheese.com where you will receive an order confirmation with an order number.

In addition to receiving the order confirmation number after your credit card has been processed, you will also receive two e-mails. One will thank you for your order; the other will be a confirmation of the charge to your credit card. (See sample below on page 16.)

“View Order” is a hyperlink. You can click on this link to view your order details online.

When you click “View Order,” you will be directed to msucheese.com where you can log in to your account to view your order. You cannot change your order once it has been paid for, but you can check on shipping status. If you need to make changes, you must call or e-mail the store within 24 hours of having placed the order.

Click on the “Order Info” tab.

Now you can click on “To View PAST Orders, click here.” to see order numbers that are links to the respective order’s details.

Each order number is a link. By clicking on the link, you can see the details of each order.

You will also receive an email confirmation for your credit card payment from the following email address: cashiers @controller.msstate.edu.

If you have products to be shipped on your order, you will receive another e-mail the day the order has been shipped.

This is the order detail screen. This shows the full order broken down by recipients and pick-ups. You may click “Duplicate Order” to place an order with the exact same items and recipients. Clicking “Continue” will take you back to the previous screen with your past order numbers.

Retrieving Held Orders:

To see an order that you have placed on hold online in the past 3 days, just log into your account and click on the “My Account” tab at the top of the page.

Click “Pay Account Balance”

The order # is a link. You can click on any one of them to view the details of that order. If it has been longer than 3 days since you placed an order on hold, it will no longer be saved. You must start a new order.

Click “Select Order to Pay”.

Retrieving Your Password:

� Once you have received your password, you can just log onto the site and begin shopping!

Monitoring Shipping Status:

� If you gave us a correct e-mail address when you entered your order, you will receive your second e-mail on the date that your order is shipped. You will then be able to log into your account to track your order.

� Simply click on the “Order Info” tab at the top of the page and click on “To view PAST orders, click here”. Choose the order number that you wish to track. Click on the UPS tracking number (a link also). This will take you to the UPS website where you will be able to access information about the status of your order. Packages shipped through the United States Postal Service do not have tracking numbers; they have delivery confirmation numbers only.

If you are an existing customer and have forgotten your password, simply click “Forgot your password?”, type in your email address and we will email your password to you shortly.
