Modular ConstructionNordMende Video Wall solutions can be used in various configurations. Our most popular are either 2 x 2 or 3 x 3, however they can be tiled up to sizes of 10 x 10 monitors. It’s processor controlled which splits the picture seamlessly and is equipped with an intuitive metal wall bracket allowing for easy configuration - all you need is a wrench. Interactive Display Board

The applications and benefits of the NMID65PC are numerous, from educating children in a classroom setting, presenting in a boardroom setting to selling products in a showroom. Its compatible with any learning or interactive software along with Windows 7 or 8.

4mm AR GlassThe NordMende interactive display board’s glass screen is coated with a special Anti-Reflective surface to reduce glare from windows, or just a brightly lit room. At 4mm thick the glass has the perfect balance between durability and screen clarity.

Multi-Touch InteractivityNordMende’s Infrared Touchscreen technology can detect essentially any input, including a finger, gloved finger, stylus or pen. This technology allows increased durability and optical clarity over other touchscreen technologies. 4 touch-points means two people can work on the one screen simultaneously.

Interactive Display Board vs Interactive Whiteboard DisplayNo Projector, No Bulbs, No ShadowAs the display is an LED screen there is no need to connect a projector, go through the hassle of sourcing replacement bulbs for your projector, or worry about screen shadow when giving a presentation.

Optional Built In PCThe NMID65PC/ NMID84PC gives you direct access to the web, there’s no need to worry about hooking up PC’s via VGA cables, or compatibility issues when someone’s presenting. Attaching a web-cam makes video conferencing a seamless experience. Anything you can do on your laptop can be done on the NMID65PC .

Digital SignageNordMende Digital Signage delivers distinct messaging in a manner that doesn’t distract, but grabs the attention of the viewer. It does so with bright colourful screens while minimizing energy consumption costs.

ELED Backlit PanelsNordMende’s LED Digital Signage panels have an edge backlit screen. This format is much more efficient than traditional CCFL backlights and offers a better quality picture.

Colour DepthThis refers to the number of bits used to indicate the colour of a single pixel in a bitmapped image or video frame. NordMende’s Digital Signage Monitors have “True Colour” depth, which provides at least 16.7 million colour variations. This produces beautifully deep colourful images presenting signage content as it was meant to be seen. The 65” monitors have “Deep Colour” depth with 1.07 billion colour variations.

Screen BrightnessThe brightness of LED / LCD panels is measured in the unit “nits” or “cd/m2”. One nit is the equivalent to one candela per square meter (cd/m2).

The candela is approximately the amount of light emitted by a common tallow candle. A standard LCD panel has an output between 200 and 300 nits for example. The NordMende Digital Signage screens have 450 cd/m2 or 450 nits, however the 65” signage monitors have an impressive 800 cd/m2.

Viewing AngleThis is the maximum angular distance from looking in front of a screen to looking from the side without a change of brightness or colour. All NordMende panels have a viewing angle of 178°.

OPS CompatibleIntel introduced the Open Pluggable Specification to help standardize the design and development of digital signs. OPS-compliant devices have a built in slot for an OPS-compliant media player, which connects via an 80-pin JAE connector. The NordMende BD-Series is OPS Compatible, and has an empty OPS slot, compatible with which ever media player you favour.

PD-SeriesThe NordMende PD-series Digital Signage Monitors ship with a built in OPS Intel module. The CPU is a Sandy Bridge Intel core i3-2330M. Customers do have the option of ordering an i5 model at a higher price and extended lead time. This CPU has Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated. There’s 4GB ddr3

1333/1600 MHz RAM available which can be upgradable to 16GB, and a Hard Drive space of 500GB. The monitor can be ordered to ship with a 16 / 32GB SSD, however this will be subject to price changes, and extended lead times. It has two Wi-Fi antenna ports supporting 802.11n.

AND-SeriesThe NordMende AND-Series of Digital Signage Monitors ship with an Android OPS module, support-ing the latest version of Android OS, and compatible with all Play Store apps, including digital signage apps.

Video Wall:A video wall is a multi monitor setup made up of monitors tiled together in order to form one large screen. Using a video wall solution facilitates a greater pixel density at a lower cost, than if one was to use a single large monitor.The NordMende video wall products are sold as standard in the 2 x 2, or 3 x 3 formats. However they are available in 4 x 4, 5 x 5 up to 10 x 10 formats when requested. Such requests are subject to extended lead times.

InstallationNordMende video wall products ship with sturdy wall mounting brackets of the highest buildquality. The wall mount bolts ensure adjustments are made easily should the display require tweaking to minimise the bezel

distance.

Landscape / PortraitNordMende’s video wall monitors can be arranged in a landscape or portrait orientation as preferred.

RS-232CAllows the remote controlling andconfiguration of the display’s func-tions.

High Bright Video WallThe 55” video wall solutions are available in two levels of brightness, the regular screen with a brightness level of 500 cd/m2, and the high bright screen with 700 cd/m2. This option would prove very effective in well lit areas such as shopping centres where there are many other eye catching elements in the viewers environment.

Image ProcessingEach NordMende video wall ships with an image processing unit for each configuration. This takes a video input and splits the image into the required number of screens.
