In order to support that growth without compromising customer satisfaction and to control distribution costs, Distribeauty UK implemented a cloud-based warehouse solution with NetSuite and OzLINK. The Challenge: Distribeauty UK has an ever-expanding product set, with products to beautify their customers’ eyes, lips, and face, as well as many accessories. However, many products have similar packaging, and also come in multiple options, making picking and fulfillment very challenging. This was further exacerbated by their growth and the need for new warehouse staff to be productive as quickly as possible. The specific issues they faced were: The process of picking, and packing using a paper process was simply too labor intensive The mix of SKUs and products create picking issues, compromising customer satisfaction Visibility and integration with shipping limited their ability to allocate the right resources and provide customer order status The Solution: Distribeauty UK turned to OzLINK and NetSuite to provide an end-to-end order management solution, with visibility, automation, and control right to the warehouse floor. With OzLINK Mobile, warehouse staff simply receive the next sales order to be fulfilled directly to their scanning device. Since OzLINK is connected real time to NetSuite, the order status is always accurate for operations management, the customer care team, and the end consumer. Furthermore, they leverage a combination pick ticket and shipping label to cut down on shipping errors.
