Quality terminal blockcontaining segregatedpower and control ter-minals are designed foruse in high vibrationenvironments.

The dome type indicator isdirectly mounted on thecenter column to providepositive visual indication ofthe valve position evenover long distances.

Squirrel caged inductionmotor is totally enclosedtype with high stall torqueand low inertia force to suitseating/unseating of valves.Integral thermal protectionto prevent damage to thesingle/three phase motor.

The precision worm and worm wheel mechanism transfers high torquewith high efficiency and low sound level (Max. 50dB) even though smallin size. Additional benefits include low backlash and longer life. Variousoutput torques (60Nm~2,500Nm) cater for valves from 2to 24.

SEALING Standard enclosure with o-ring sealing is watertight to IECIP67, NEMA4 and 6. The actuator is available with optionalexplosion proof enclosure.

WIRINGElectric wiring of control circuit is standardized for single andthree phase power supply in a single module. Multipleterminal contacts sufficiently cover additional requirementssuch as auxiliary contacts for DCS, interlocking and otheroptions.

COMPONENT ARRANGEMENTMechanical and electrical module can be separated easily toimprove assembling, maintenance and alteration of electricalrequirements. Actuator has enough internal space for optionalaccessories.

HANDWHEELSize of handwheel is designed for safe and efficientemergency manual operation.

MANUAL OVERRIDEHand/auto declutching lever for handwheel engagement. Thepower drive is automatically restored by motor start.

ADAPTIONBase mounting is standard to ISO 5211.Drive bush is removable for machining to valve stemrequirement. The actuator position on the valve can beselected for 4 positions by means of 4 bolt holes in the drivebush.

HEATERA space heater inside the actuator prevents condensation dueto temperature and weather changes. Standard 20W heaterkeeps all electrical components in the actuator clean and dry.

LIMIT SWITHCHESThe limit switch is activated by means of a simple and yetreliable cam mechanism mounted and driven by the centercolumn. The valve position can be accurately and easily setwith the simple adjustable switch mechanism. The set positionis permanent and is not affected by over-travel resulting formmanual operation.

TORQUE SWITHCHESCam activated torque switches are easily adjustable toprovide over-load protection.

SELF-LOCKINGRolled steel wormgear on aluminium bronze wormwheel self-locks to prevent valve back drive on control signal or powerfailure.
