Virtual Instruction Program –your students being taught by program’s teachers. (i.e. Student using K12, LLC with K12 teachers)
MDVS – FLVS Franchise VIP (i.e. K12, Edgenuity, FLVS) used as a blended virtual curriculum.
MDVS teachers – using a VIP Program
This can be offered from K-12th grades.
We offer this for middle and high school students.
Could be offered at your district depending on what your district’s guidelines/policies are forblended learning.
This is not offered as an option this year, however it will offered next year for elementary grades only. MDVS teachers will teach using the K12, LLC courses
This option allows the district to reserve some FTE if reported correctly within the survey periods.
This option allows the district to reserve more FTE in the district if reported correctly within the survey periods.
This option allows seat time, transportation and such included with FTE.
This option allows districts to keep more FTE in the district.

When using FLVS…

Home Education students taking Virtual MDVS/FLVS Courses
FTE can be collected for your district if the student(s) successfully complete within the survey guidelines.
Parent/Learning Coach becomes the school counselor and “verifies the courses”
District VIP must keep an eye on reports placed in Moodle and let us know if any transfers/withdrawals need to be made.

Fulltime Enrollment is closed for the 2016-2017 school year! Great job everyone!!!!
Single course enrollment is on-going per district approval:
• Students that start a course before Survey 3 is submitted have until August to complete. It is not recommended that these students be transferred at the end of May.
• School District has until Aug. 31 Amendment Date to submit and be able to collect FTE on students that were reported in Surveys 2 or 3
• Students who start after Survey 3 must finish by the last day of school in order for districts to collect FTE
Options: o Let students start with the understanding they must finish the segment by May 19th
o If these students are not finished by May 25th, transfer them to FLVS o Withdrawal them on May 25th and they will have to restart the course.
