Impact Idlers (Troughing or Flat)

Transmin ConveyorPro impact idlers are designed to provide a cushioning effect and prevent damage to the belt at the loading point. These idlers may be troughing or flat types with grooved, moulded rubber rolls.

Carrying Idlers (Troughing or Flat)

Transmin ConveyorPro carrying idlers support the belt in the section of the conveyor that transports the material. These idlers may be flat or troughed to shape the belt to prevent spillage and are available in 20°, 35° and 45° trough angles with equal or unequal roll lengths.

Return Belt Training Idlers

Transmin - ConveyorPro Return Belt Training Idlers are used for the same purposes as are carrying training idlers. They are of the actuating shoe type, belt travel — both direction, and the positive belt travel — one direction only. The positive type is illustrated. Normal spacing is 100 feet and not within 50 feet of the head or tail pulley.

Carrying Belt Training Idlers (Troughing or Flat)

Transmin - ConveyorPro Carrying Belt Training Idlers assists in keeping the belt centered on the conveyor. Actuating shoe type is used on belt traveling in either direction. Positive type is used on belt traveling in one direction only and is illustrated. Normal spacing is 100 feet and not within 50 feet of the head or tail pulley.

Return Idlers support the empty belt between the discharge point and the tail pulley and come in:

a. Steel — used where materials are not sticky, corrosive or abrasive.

b. Spiral — are single directional and used where sticky materials adhere to the belt, where a corrosive environment is present or abrasive wear is a problem.

c. Disc — used for the same conditions as the spiral idler and is used for belt travel in either direction.

Pulley lagging

ConveyorPro pulleys can be engineered and constructed to suit your specific bulk material application or selected from our standard pre-engineered range. The shells are normally made from heavy wall pipe but can also be rolled to suit specific requirements. Stainless steel pulleys are also available.

Our recommended method for shaft-to-end disc fitting is by internal locking elements which provide a demountable key-less high torque connection. The easy release capability permits the removal of the shell from the shaft for maintenance. Other types of shaft connections are available and these include compression hub, taper fit, or welded shaft for the less critical applications.

Thermo ScientificTM RamseyTM Tilt Switches and Control Units These rugged, abrasion-resistant tilt switches are available as mercury and mercury-free. The tilt-sensor is actuated when material rises to tilt the probe 15° or more from its vertical position.
