This year Christmas in Luxembourg will have a taste of London and Paris. As matter of fact, 5 young talented artists leaving in London or Paris will revisit Christmas carols Sunday December 10th at 5 pm. And it is for a very good purpose since Victoria on the violin, Miriam and Alina with their voice, Daniel on the saxophone and Denis on the piano will perform for the benefit of ADRA Luxembourg, a humanitarian association, with the project among others is to build water tower for an orphanage in Tanzania. Talents, young artists, charity event are the keys for a nice and pleasant musical moment for this very special Christmas concert in Luxembourg Cette année, Noël au Luxembourg aura un saveur de Londres et Paris. En effet, 5 jeunes artistes talentueux vivant à Londres ou Paris vont revisiter les classiques de Noël dimanche 10 décembre à 17h. Et c’est pour la bonne cause puisque Victoria au violon, Miriam et Alina au chant, Daniel au saxophone et Denis au piano feront une représentation au profit d’ADRA Luxembourg, organisation humanitaire, qui a le projet entre autres, de construire un château d’eau pour un orphelinat en Tanzanie. Du talent, de jeunes artists, un concert humanitaire voilà les ingrédients pour passer une soirée musicale agréable et utile for ce concert de Noël très spécial au Luxembourg.

My name is Daniel. I am 23 years old and I really enjoy playing saxophone. Came from a country of Eastern Europe- "Moldova", where I grew up and got my music skills. I love worship God with all the talents he gave me. At 8 years old I started playing violin, then at the age of 19 I have graduated it. When I was a young boy of 16 years old something came in my mind, which made me to have

another choice, so I picked up the saxophone. Till now I really enjoy playing saxophone in many places, churches and events and different countries, praising his name. At the moment I work at my first music album. And I will look forward for your feedback. Je m’appelle Daniel. J’ai 22 ans et j’aimer particulièrement jouer du saxophone. Je viens d’un pays d’Europe de l’Est, la Moldavie où j’ai grandi et où j’ai acquis mes talents musicaux. J’aime louer Dieu avec tous les talents qu’il m’a donné. A l’âge de 8 ans, j’ai commencé le violon et à 19 ans j’ai réussi le concours de fin d’études. Quand j’ai eu 16 ans, j’ai eu une idée qui m’a fait changer d’instrument. J0ai alors choisi le saxophone. Jusqu’à aujourd’hui, j’aime vraiment jouer du saxophone dans beaucoup de lieux, églises ou évènements dans différents pays pour louer Son nom. En ce moment, je travaille sur mon premier album musical. J’ai hâte d’avoir votre feedback.

Alina COSTAS Alina Costas, est née en Moldavie, dans une famille adventiste. Lorsqu'elle avait 4 ans, Alina accompagnée de ses parents, ont décidé de déménager en France, à Paris. Depuis son plus jeune âge, elle aime chanter. La musique occupe une place importante dans sa vie. A partir de ses 2 ans, elle chante à l'église et à de

nombreuses rencontres comme des programmes, meetings ou concerts. Sa famille, elle même composée de musiciens, lui a permit de développer l'amour pour la musique qu'elle garde chaque jour. Alina Costas is born in Moldavia in an Adventist family. As she is 4 years old, her parents and her moved to France in Paris. Since her early childhood, she loves to sing. Music has a great importance in her life. From 2 years old, she sings at the church and at many events, meetings and concerts. Her family, also composed of musicians, helped her to let grow her daily love for music.

Miriam JOHNSON Hey there, my name is Miriam. Since I can remember, music has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been in multiple school musicals and talent shows, combining my love for music and acting (sometimes even dancing) and entertaining people. I have also

been blessed to be able to worship lead in churches and concerts since I was 14, and it is such a highlight to guide people in their journey to God through music! I am so excited to be a part of this concert and to help raise money for an amazing charity!

Bonjour, je m’appelle Miriam. Depuis aussi loin que je me rappelle, la musique a toujours une grande place dans ma vie. J’ai fréquenté de nombreuses écoles de musique et de shows musicaux, en combinant mon amour pour la musique et le théâtre (parfois même la danse) et le divertissement. J’ai aussi été béni de pouvoir diriger des cultes d’adoration dans des églises et des concerts depuis l’âge de 14 ans. C’est si beau de pouvoir conduire les gens dans leur voyage vers Dieu à travers la musique ! Je suis très enthousiaste à l’idée de participer à ce concert et d’aider à recueillir des fonds pour une action humanitaire exceptionnel !

Victoria Balan Victoria-Alina Balan got her Bachelor degree from the Royal College of Music, London, where she studied the violin with Prof. Yosii Zivoni. In 2015 she then completed the Masters Degree at the Royal Holloway University of London. Victoria started playing the violin at the age of 8 in Moldova, her birth country and won first prize in children’s TV competition, playing for Moldova’s National Television. In April 2005 she won the 2nd place in the Republican Competition, and in both 2004 and 2005 she toured around Europe. In September

2006 Victoria was given a full scholarship to study in England, at the Purcell School of Music with Tony Cucciara. There, Victoria had the privilege of playing in the symphony orchestra and to sing in the choir conducted by Sir Simon Rattle and John Rutter. With the RCM Symphony Orchestra, Victoria has performed in St Paul’s Cathedral, Royal Festival Hall, Peteborough Cathedral, St John’s Smith Square and other concert halls. She has given violin recitals in London, Queen Mary’s Church, Stanborough Park church, Watford; in Newbold and St Mark’s Church, Binfield. In both 2012 and 2013 Victoria has successfully completed a violin course in Oviedo, Spain. In the winter of 2013 and 2014 she has played in Kerela, India. Victoria has debuted as a soloist in September 2014 playing the Bruch Violin Concerto with the

National Philharmonic Orchestra of Moldova. In July 2015, Victoria has played solo at the General Conference of SDA Church in San Antonio, USA, where the release of her album Love by Grace took place. She is also an active chamber musician as well as a teacher. Victoria continues to learn under the tutelage of Prof. Yossi Zivoni. Victoria-Alina Balan a obtenu son diplôme de baccalauréat au College Royal de Music de Londres où elle a étudié le violon avec le professeur Yossi Zivoni. En 2015, elle a complété sa formation avec un Master au Royal Hollowas de l’université de Londres. Victoria a commence à jouer au violon à l’âge de 8 ans en Moldavie, son pays de naissance et a gagné un premier prix dans un concours pour enfant à la télévision en jouant sur la chaine nationale de Moldavie. En avril, elle gagna la 2ème place au concours Republican et participa à une tournée en Europe en 2004 et 2005. En septembre 2006, Victoria obtint une bourse pour étudier en Angleterre à l’école de musique de Tony Cucciara. Là, elle eut le privilège de jouer dans l’orchestre symphonique et de chanter dans la chorale sous la direction de Sir Simon Rattle et de John Rutter. Avec l’orchestre symphonique du Royal College of Music (RCM), Victoria a joué à la cathédrale Saint Paul, au Royal Festival Hall, à la cathedrale Peteborough, à St John’s Smith Square et dans d’autres salles de concert. Elle a donné des récitals de violon à Londres, à l’église Queen Mary, l’église Stanborough Park de Watford, à Newbold et l’église St Mark de Binfield. En 2012 et 2013, elle a passé avec succès un cours de violon à Oviedo en Espagne. Pendant l’hiver 2013 et 2014, elle a joué à Kerela en Inde.
